Episode 3 - Universal Medicine and the Media
Do we really live in a free market? Are we actually free to offer the services that we know will benefit our communities? Or is it the case that if the services we offer expose others’ modes of business it will be seen as a threat?
In this episode we explore the new innovator bullying, cyber abuse and press abuse levelled at Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and take a look ‘behind the news’ at the business the media dubbed a ‘cult’ and the man they labelled a cult-leader. In a region renowned for its celebrated diversity of healing therapies, communities and groups, in 2012 when a series of articles came out vilifying the popular complementary healing business with outright lies, it was clear that there was a greater agenda at play. After all, why lie about something unless you have nothing of genuine concern to report? And why lie at all? What was it about Serge Benhayon and his work that he was being perceived as a threat to the status quo of health, medicine and healing? Moreover, what was he presenting about Women’s wellbeing that was breaking with an unspoken cultural protocol?
The championing of true equality for women, not just talked about, but lived, has never been more publicly available than it is through the work of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon. In a world which continues to foster an embedded culture of mysogyny and especially within a media landscape in which inequality and sexism is rife, the media and particularly the journalist’s involved in early coverage of Universal Medicine were unable (or unwilling) to discern fact from derogatory pulp fiction about ‘brain washed female followers’. Through an already broken lens they failed to see the story right in front of them. This episode explores the lack of accountability in media that impacts the very fabric of community and society.
In year 11, during my A Levels I studies Sociology and one of the subjects at hand was how Media impacts on society. The lightbulb clicked when our teacher proposed that the media actually fueled the 2011 riots in the UK. It made so much sense, and I realised what an important role the media plays in our understanding and perception of life. Today, even more so as we are constantly bombarded with images from the media and information from news reporters.
We have been criticising the media as a false source of information, within literature examination one of the least reliable sources is the media. People who write or present news are known to be under the influence of social demands, it is well-known that what is said & what is presented is done so that it appeals to a larger audience, yet we still believe it. We still want to go onto the roller coaster ride and experience all of the emotion. So one can’t blame the media for the drama within society, it is society who creates the drama and incites the media to keep feeding us carrots.
The only evidence that is required is what we feel when we engage with Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine. I know that for the past three years I have never witnessed this man harm another, be rude, derogatory or disrespectful in any shape of form. I know that the people I have met through attending these presentations have been the most caring and down to earth I have ever come across. I have become a part of a community that has supported my growth like nobody in the world has had the capacity to do so. So, the media will ultimately write whatever they please, but for those willing it is clear to see through the lies & know what side of truth we choose to position ourselves.
I am not shocked by the lies printed on a paper, that is expected – so many of us are drowning in our need for recognition that we are willing to do whatever it takes to just get a moment of glory. But what has shocked me is how devotedly we believe what is written in the paper to suit our own needs, we will attack those it is written about simply because something in them triggers us, we will discriminate because it’s out in the media and therefore we are allowed to also express our opinion, regardless of how vulgar or disrespectful it is.
We are hard wired to believe what we read in the newspapers. On top of which I have a natural tendency to trust people. These two things have meant that I have been hoodwinked on many occasions and taken on opinions that I have read. I enjoy having a natural trust and am simply waking up to reading more carefully what people’s superficial agendas are and therefore what may be impulsing them to act in certain ways. Our media industry is now so deviant and corrupt that even those with the highest integrity struggle to maintain standards within it.
I have also witnessed just how hard wired we are to believe what we read in the newspapers and how it can leave seeds of doubt in our minds and that is how we are caught. This is often how lies are spread because we are cut off from the access to the truth.
The absolute circus the media are presenting is shocking in its lack of integrity or basic decency.
As the media exposes its loose relationship with truth we see more clearly what we have aligned to and allowed to develop in the business of news distribution. A potentially reputable profession has become at best untrustworthy and at worst destructive and cruel.
If life is all about supply and demand – which energy are we demanding in our day and why? Are we making a conscious choice, or choosing to pretend that we don’t know what we are demanding?
That second question is so important, Ariana. How many of us pretend we are not choosing and in so doing align to what ever the mass movement it? Unless we are consciously (responsibly and actively) choosing, we are being chosen for, and if we were honest about this we would be deeply rattled by allowing ourselves to be played like this.
I have now seen the way in which media operates and I must say that I will never trust what I read ever again.
Universal Medicine and the media is an example of a huge lesson for the media, a lesson in integrity that is presented in their faces and what is done with it? Nothing that makes any sense.
We live in a world where the voice of truth is cast aside for the glee of incitement.
Gosh this is true and a sorry state of affairs. However, avoiding the fact that we would rather salacious gossip than adherence to truth is a further deviance and simply delays us accepting the fact that whilst we demand ‘the glee of incitement’ the supply will continue.
When I consider the depths the media will go to, the lies and depravity they will sink to, the abuse of people they will engage in, on line for all to see – it’s incredible. Why do we call them ‘the media’, they are not media, not by any definition, they are as much fiction as any bad ‘C’ rated Hollywood film.
The point that stands out for me here is the devastation and destruction that is the wake of the media these days. It is persistently and relentlessly destructive.
What beggars belief is that certain sections of the media will outright lie and fabricate outrageous stories that have no shred of truth, all for the sensationalistic sewage that pumps out of the industry. They have nothing because there is nothing to have, yet they make up their lies to sell – and all too many will read such lies. The truth of what is there is grand, glorious and inspirational, but they don’t want that, it smacks too much of responsibility. What I say is bring on the truth, it is sensational when lived, but not in the sense the media manipulate sensationalism to be.
The media have put themselves in a position similar to a drug dealer, they provide the hit and the user seeks the supply, there’s a symbiotic relationship between the two. What is needed is to cut off the demand and the supply will dry up.
Attacked by the media for being true defies common sense – yet it seems that there are those with the backing of media barons who are very comfortable lying – and consistently so. What has been perpetrated here against this man whose life stands for truth is nothing short of an abhorrent display of the misuse of power. Greed hates truth, and when truth lives in the body it clearly cannot bare seeing that.
The truth can have such a reaction in people, in everyone. To consider how much the world does not like truth, one only needs to look at the media industry, it is constantly burying and twisting truth on a professional basis. That is how far we have come from truth. Yet here we have a man who lives truth and look what the media are doing with that – it is an abomination.
A market that picks and chooses what’s allowed inside based on personal reasons is not truly free.
If you consider that many communities and religions are based on beliefs, and that this one is not is very unique. Relationships are instead based on qualities such as tenderness, sacredness and preciousness, all innately part of living from the soul and expressing from that in daily life.
Something is not right when a way of life where people decide to commit to tenderness, sacredness, and preciousness to not harm themselves or others is questioned in a way that is like an inquisition, as many would think that this is something we would all aspire to. It is clear that this way of life creates a stir and upsets those that don’t want to take any responsibility for the Garden of Eden that is being systematically destroyed by our wayward behaviour. We live in a society that is out of control, has lost all sense of decency and respect and yet can point the finger and criticise those who are making an effort to realign themselves and live in a way that brings them back into line with evolution.
Yes we seem to “have lost touch with what is real and true” and I wonder if many of us even care about it. For example regarding Brexit in the UK, there is currently widespread opinion that the nation was lied to from the beginning. But for some reason right from the beginning people chose to point the finger at one person mainly, although there was a whole government at play and as always there was the finances behind it all, there were also the numerous media outlets rehashing the information, and the masses perfectly happy regurgitating the absurd lies. So what makes people decide to use the exact same set up as an ongoing source of information and assume that this time round it will be true?
It seems we are all complicit in playing an absurd game and no one is willing to own up to being perfectly content with ignoring the stench of corruption actually at play.
The saying goes if you don’t like something start with yourself, that’s exactly what this is about. When we look at the media and all the lies that are spread why do we as a humanity demand them? In a way we not only see what we want to see but we start to get society to tell us what it is that we want to see and make that the news.
Serge’s sharing about the community that has grown around Universal Medicine is very beautiful. There is something very precious about being a part of this community. Learning to live in a harmonious way together with the foundations of decency, respect and true care. This then is carried to every community we are apart of. This is something we all deserve to live with.
Jennifer I appreciate your comment about Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine, there is something very precious about being part of this community, I’m learning to live with myself and others at the very least with decency respect this leads to true care which I feel is something that is lacking in our current society.
It is astonishing when the media doesn’t like you how it is able to build up a whole body of self-cited material without any evidence creating the illusion of whatever effect it chooses. This is particularly obvious as currently a future wedding of a TV star receives nauseatingly positive coverage every day.
Forget freedom of press I’d rather have freedom from abuse.
I feel Serge is correct when he says that we have a collective interest. I feel as a society we have a collective interest to stay comfortable. We want to stay in the comfort that we have surrounded ourselves with and we do not want someone coming along rocking our boat and pointing out all the flaws we allow ourselves to be blind to. What is it about us that we prefer the struggle of life, the corruption, the abusive ways we interact with each other over and above another way to live which is actually to truly love and support each other. Could it be that it would mean we would have to be responsible for ourselves rather than blame everyone else for the mess we are all living in.
The vicious way Serge Benhayon has been portrayed in the media at times you’d think he’d have an axe to grind. But what he shares is simply a clear and simple reading of how all the corruption and lies in this world begin with us first and what we allow. This integrity is his style.
Joseph my takeaway from all the negativity, lies, threats and outright vileness that is rife in the media is that you cannot fight hate with hate as they are one and the same energy. What everyone is shown who cares to observe is how not to react, no matter the provocation but to live life in all its rich qualities which gives back an even deeper aspect of the heaven we all come from.
The problem is that everyone is on a constant drive for distraction from really looking at the mess of a world we are living in. And the media excels at fabricating sensationalised stories to help with this.
It is alarming that, if we go by what is printed about Universal Medicine, most of the stories have no resemblance to the truth. But was truth ever the objective when all along the game was about a demand for and the supply of distraction.
We see in almost every film and tv show how corrupt the media is yet still seem to put our collect trust in it.
Serge Benhayon’s understanding of life and people in life is so exquisite. There is not any ounce of judgment at all. Towards the end of the conversation he talks about men choosing aggression and all he shares is understanding of this without any suggestion that this needs to be changed. For that is for each of us to see in ourselves in our own timing. These are really beautiful conversations that need to be heard so that beauty of this man can be felt. So that we can then feel the beauty that we all have glowing within.
Just in the first sentence Rebecca has exposed that because Serge Benhayon is outspoken and is shaking up our comfortable way of living by simply explaining that the model isn’t working and will never work unless we make changes to the way we behave towards ourselves first. Any ill behaviour shows me that we do not live in a civilized society. We have for thousands of years tried to paper over the cracks and tried to make our society work but the veneer has been ripped apart and society has been exposed for the falseness it really is and in the anger of being exposed it seems to me the way society defends its self is to attack the truth. And so history repeats itself.
Interesting how the ‘people on the ground’ those who know the business of Universal Medicine have a completely different knowing of Universal Medicine that those who rely on the information that the media have. Chalk and Cheese. Truth and lies. The lies will be eventually seen for what they are.
We all know the media have a great tendency to lie yet seem to be obsessed with what is written in the papers and said on TV. To me it shows a level of convenience we enjoy, and as long as we – the individual – are not inconvenienced then anything seems to be able to slide past us without question.
Who do I trust? A journalist who I have never met or a man who I have known for over 10 years and been a backbone support for me during those years 🤔
Who do I trust – someone who has proven his absolute commitment to expressing the truth and an unwavering love for humanity, or a journalist who is writing a ‘story’ about this same person but they haven’t actually taken the time to meet him in person – which seems very incredible if they are at all interested in writing the truth.
The only way to know the truth is to discern for ourselves whether something feels true or not – despite what we may ‘think’, we are all extremely able to do this in connection with our body. Then we will realise that a lot of what is presented to us as the truth is not the truth at all.
There is a cavernous difference between what I have read about Serge Benhayon from the media and what I know from my own experience and what has been shared by those who know Serge. I’m sticking to what I know.
‘We are living an amazing way of being which is against the current trend’ Yes it does deserve study, I agree, there is much for humanity to learn – but as Serge says, we are not there to convert, this is key, that we are not trying to sell anything, we are simply living and being and if that inspires or is a role model for others then that is great.
Putting all cards on the table so that people can make up their own minds and choices. When all cards are on the table, there are no vested interests.
Trash what you feel threatened by is an old tactic, but one that only works if those who live the full movement deviate from what they know to be true.
Serge Benhayon here talks about tenderness being a form of intelligence. Which makes sense because is it not deeply intelligent to be tenderly moving through life, with delicacy and grace, so that no person is imposed upon?
Universal Medicine and the media is a showcase for the bias of the media and how ugly the media is.
The more we believe what we see instead of know what we feel the more we will see lies accepted as truths.
The lies I have witnessed in the media since 2012 about Serge and Universal Medicine are astonishing. As the saying goes, “Don’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.” It is so important for the truth to be told otherwise we have the public buying into the lies peddled by the media, and not just about Serge and Universal Medicine, but anything else the media falsely report about in their agenda for profit. My experience of Serge and his business are nothing like what is reported, but there would be many people in the public reading those stories and believing they are true.
Whilst the church no longer has the power it once did to influence people and their behaviours, sections of our media have very successfully stepped into this role where they can create stories that are not true to influence the behaviour of others.
I used to be scared of what the media or people might say about Universal Medicine, but now, really, I couldn’t care less for there is no opinion on this planet or the next that could outweigh the quality of my everyday life.
‘Living against the trend’ yes, it certainly is a community way of living that deserves to be examined not criticised, because so many people have benefitted from improved relationships, improved health and better lives in general. Yes it does require a change in thinking and there are many who are not willing to change and who will speak against it, but that does not mean it is any way ‘harmful’.
Interestingly, genuine health improvements attract certain people who feel the need to attack the organisation delivering the health benefits as much as they possibly can and the better the organisation does, the worse the attack get. Very strange.
With all the vile and untrue media, public and cyber bullying attacks on Serge Benhayon, he never holds or utters a word of judgment against anyone. He simply consistently reflects that everyone is equal in their essence, only the energy we choose to live by is what makes the difference – that is, from love and harmony with all or loveless-ness, hate, fear, jealousy and comparison.
I Love Truth. We all love it. It’s something I have deeply yearned all my life. I had enough of what we call life today and deep inside I called for Truth. Not long after I found Serge Benhayon — I have not looked back.
The miss-use of power by some factions of the media serves as a warning as to the huge depth of corruption there is in the world today. It would be so refreshing to know that each article which is published in the papers or online is a totally truthful account of an event, but situations like the one Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine have been subjected to, show that this is definitely not the case. And unfortunately, when one sensational seed is sown, many corrupted seeds soon follow, swallowing up the truth as they are constantly fed with the lies and deceptions. But as we know, eventually the truth will see the light of day – and how long that takes is up to us.
A balanced enquiry is a thing of myth like the minotaur in the labyrinth, the chosen tactic is full blown inquisition with lies woven through.
Re-watching this episode I am struck by how non-judgemental Serge Benhayon is, even to those who lie and attack him. He has a depth of understanding of what motivates human beings and can see through the behaviours with an absolute knowing of what is true and what is not, what serves humanity and what denatures us.
Yes, that is quite something to behold. Much easier to react.
Decency care and respect are foundational to every community and relationship. it is definitely worthwhile stopping and considering how we bring these important qualities to our daily lives and interactions, but also when we don’t. Not to berate ourselves, but to simply observe when we accept less than what we would normally.
The fact that there is a term called new innovator bullying highlights how resistant we can be to change, regardless of what that change may be.
What inspires me so much about Serge Benhayon is that he loves humanity too much to bow down to any form of bullying, because everyone having equal access to truth is the only thing that matters.
What is being spoken about is freedom to chose for ourselves, but we are not free to chose we are in fact controlled by the media, governments etc. However, I feel that this is small fry now as my feeling is we are much more controlled than ever before by modern technology that tracks everything we do and is then used as data analytics to control and intrude on our way of living more than ever before.
We all deserve to be left alone to life the life that we choice, so long as there is no harm involved. Even though people have no right to criticise others for their choice, we do it anyway and persist with it to the detriment to society as a whole.
I have spoken to a lot of people about media and most people have a level of distrust in it. Some organisations more so that others. The challenge that I find is seeing the truth in an organisation that ticks all the boxes of doing things right. They say and do all ‘the right’ things, but there is something equally unsavoury as the quality of what is published in the tabloids. In fact it’s much worse because they hide very nicely behind being good and nice.
Doing a google search today and the word cult came up as the first word in the headline of one of the articles that came up in my search. Its such an emotive word and sections of the media very happily and easily bandy it about without any consideration for what they are saying and who this may affect. They try and dull it down a little by putting it into inverted commas. But really the word is there in black and white and it immediately creates a picture in our minds, which is never a true representation of the truth.
Complaining about the media on its own is just another form of comfort – we as humanity have for so long ignored, blocked out or attacked the truth whenever it was delivered. The media just reflect the true depth of our unwillingness to face up to our irresponsibility. Thank you Serge Benhayon for persevering in the face of our many layered lies.
Media can say what they want I know what I stand for and what I know I want my life to be.
I agree wholeheartedly Toni. Sections of the media however are simply not interested in how lives have changed through the very practical liveable wisdom that is presented. They are much more interested in their own versions of events and justify this as public interest.
The reason most media give for the way they treat people in their attempts to write a story is that of ‘public interest’ and because of this they feel they can get their stories in any way possible. But as a result they have little concern for how someone may feel about the way they tell their stories. Look at how the average politician is treated. Yes its true they also use the media for their own purposes. But we need to look at how we consume our media, for it is us as consumers that actually have the final say about how they conduct their business. We can simply stop consuming their product.
It’s deeply disturbing to see what something as refreshing as Universal Medicine is done to in the media circus.
‘I am simply expressing truth from my body as I know it to be’ says Serge Benhayon and he is a role model for us all – we all need to be speaking truth from our bodies, not playing mind games, then there would be less war, fewer misunderstandings and greater harmony in all our relationships.
What is said here about free market is very revealing. There are many ways in which we can be bullied without it obviously looking like bullying. We have gestures, movements, pregnant pauses, sighs etc. that can be just as effective as being openly aggressive and bullying yet we don’t clock it as the same. We have as a society no true free market because tenderness can be laughed at, slowness can be complained about, and responsibility is not a favourite of most to just name a few. In a true free market there would be no judgement.
‘Expressing what I know to be true from my body’ is a phrase Serge Benhayon uses in this interview, he is not claiming anything, simply talking from his own lived wisdom. We all have access to that same wisdom but we tend to gather information from outside sources such as media, which means we can be mis-informed.
When something new is presented that requires people to make a shift, a change in their way of living, which is away from the comfortable lifestyle they currently experience, there will always be a reaction. The fact that the media ride this bandwagon with column after column of lies and criticism shows the false nature of the media in that they publish what sells and if the consumer wants drama and horror the media can reword absolutely anything to bring the exact vibration of drama and horror as required.
As too in the past have many soul- full servants been ridiculed and abused by the media during their time so to Has Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine.
The future will indeed show up the lies and the misrepresentation as the utter contrived attack it is.
I’ve been part of the Universal Medicine student body since 2012 and I’ve been able to experience what Serge talks about here, to relate to myself and others with the qualities of preciousness, sacredness, tenderness, etc. What I’ve learned is this is actually a natural expression, that these qualities are innate but we’ve lost connection to them. It’s truly amazing what Serge is bringing for humanity, I feel truly blessed to have experienced his work and be living the way I am – thank you Serge.
Serge Benhayon is an amazing man, he definitely lives what he presents, I have seen his dedication and love for people, it is incredible. He is an absolute inspiration to thousands and thousands of people on a global scale and I love everything he presents because it is delivered from his Livingness and from his Soul.
If we don’t stand up and say that the current way media is presenting such lies, sensationalism journalism, defamation, corruption, greed, abuse, hatred, propaganda – it just goes on and on, and if we don’t say No to this then we feed all that they are giving us. So who is really at fault? Where has the truth gone and why don’t we want to see, read or feel it?
No media in this universe could convince me that what I have felt and experienced over the many many years I have known Universal Medicine.
Or report unfounded allegations as a fact or disproven allegations as a fact.
When the media doesn’t like somebody they report in a partisan way – cherry picking, misrepresenting, perhaps even outright lie and then report on previous negative reports as confirmation of their negative bias. If you complain they threaten you with more of the same.
Wow I always find these conversations immensely interesting, inspiring and empowering.
Why are some journalists choosing to regurgitate the utter nonsense of a cyber bully about Serge Benhayon and not actually what he himself presents or is about? Their self-serving action is robbing everyone, because I am sure many others would be as appreciative as me of what is offered by this man. What he shares is so very needed in the world.
Talking about truth as a whole body experience, is very beautiful in this day and age where truth seems, in many cases at least, to be controlled by the scientific study or the media article. But if we all have the truth, right here with us all of the time, then there is no need to look outside for answers and as such to give our power away to anyone, instead to be free to have open discussions and to gather in honesty where we can all explore what truth truly is.
Surely if you want to test something’s credibility you would simply watch it unfold and observe its consistency rather than attack it and see if you can sling any mud that will stick.
I agree that when you meet someone who actually lives decency and respect every day and does not just talk about it or wish for it, it comes with a authenticity and genuineness that is very inspiring.
Hear, hear Andrew. I absolutely agree, Serge Benhayon is the most authentic, genuine, deeply loving, respectful and inspiring man I have ever met. He has mastered living divinity in a human body, what a man and what a beautiful reflection he is to humanity, a true world teacher of our current era.
Serge Benhayon’s observation that the truth is not discussed or traded because of people’s vested interest is spot on. We might say that we want the truth but our actions say otherwise. This is definitely something we need to at least get honest about.
And for me the main vested interests are profit, recognition and power, and in the type of journalism that is being used to attack Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine and its students, I can see all three so very clearly. So while the public would like to think they are being presented with the truth, what the actual truth is, is being tainted and in some cases buried, as for it to be known does in no way serve these vested, and very corrupted, interests.
The quality of love, integrity and responsibility that Serge Benhayon lives consistently 24/7, offers the opportunity for humanity to realise that this is a natural way of living and being in brotherhood together, that we can all return to live from. Throughout history, these ‘bringers of truth’ (including Serge Benhayon) have been under immense attacks, both physically and verbally from exposing (by reflection of their living way) the complacency and acceptance of the evil that continues to run amok in this world.
I have not yet met any other presenter and practitioner who lives everything they present to the depth and consistency that Serge Benhayon does. His words carry so much lived experience, wisdom and therefore authenticity as well as a real simplicity and practicality that is understandable and relatable to any human being irrespective of class, religion, education, gender or culture. I can see why his business is called Universal Medicine!
Serge Benhayon lives what he presents – it is a truth and the depth of that truth can be felt by anyone who listens. Some people may not agree and may, in their reaction say the most awful things about him, but we all know that at some level they can feel the truth of what he is presenting.
Very true Carmel. Serge Benhayon presents a truth that is inherent within us all. What people are resisting when they invent baseless lies about him is not Serge or his teachings but their own true nature, something that they can never actually escape from. One day the depth of harm they have done to them selves and others will become very evident and in that, the potential to embody the immense grace and power of Serge Benhayon’s teachings to correct the ills of this world. We all know we come from a far greater love than the one we currently live on Earth and Serge consistently holds the door open to all who sincerely want to resurrect our true responsibility.
It seems to me, and I am sure too many others, that the media are a law unto themselves and in believing so often placing themselves above the law of the land. Many involved in the media appear to go to any lengths possible to obtain the most sensational story, the most revealing photos and in the process having no regard to the human beings involved, often causing incredible and sometimes lasting harm. Serge Benhayon and his business Universal Medicine, have been the target of this drive for sensationalism, coming from several journalists who have simply cut and pasted from the online rantings of a well-know cyber-troll. The way he has handled this is so amazing to observe, but others who are more vulnerable have simply folded. Where has respect and care for a fellow member of humanity gone when these despicable acts are allowed to continue and in some cases flourish?
This is an astonishing level of callousness and harm not only by the journalists who are dishing out the abusive stories, but also by those of us who choose to be entertained by such stories.
I have noticed this for a long time, it started off by the way public figures have been seen as fair game and more and more it seems that journalists have no stop except when the reporting would go against the sentiments of the publisher.
I imagine that most people don’t consider that their choices of how they entertain themselves could be so harmful to their fellow brothers & sisters. I certainly had not considered it several years ago. Such conversations and bringing it out to the open are very much needed.
So many moments of Gold in the conversation. As Serge and Rebecca were sharing on the tenderness of men, I was taken back to a memory of watching a male patient, who was a very big man, walk down the corridor in the hospital with his new baby over his shoulder, who was completely surrendered in how he/she was being held. It was how he was moving and holding his baby that brought me to a stop and I have to say I melted. What I saw was tenderness in action and it was in his every step.
Throughout history we have perverted the truth about our world leaders and their teachings and Serge Benhayon is no exception to this, being the subject of many outlandish lies, fabricated stories and complete mis-representation. The real man and his award winning business are fundamentally changing people’s lives as can be seen in other episodes here. What hidden agendas have the press and media got running that makes them completely avoid these living miracles and manufacture fake news about a person who is totally incorruptible?
The media tells what sells, not that which ringeth the bells of truth.
The wisdom of Serge Benhayon has offered thousands a path of true healing and a joyful life with a basis in self-care and self-love. What are the media offering humanity?
Yes, Alison, there are very deliberate forces at play attempting to offset the game-changing and universal truths being humbly presented by Serge Benhayon, but the truth always wins out in the end.
It is really interesting in this episode to feel the truth of how we think we are in a free economy, but evidently this is not the case in truth, as Serge has experienced, once we live in a way that exposes the rot of the ruling systems and institutions.
What do we invest in: Lies and corruption or the Wisdom in the truth of one’s lived experiences?
What Serge Benhayon shared about the media essentially being no different that communism is really powerful and I had never really considered how the media came to be this way, But he is correct. So long as people conform to the way the media see it, then all is ok. If we really on the media for our information then depending on what we consume, we are being tunneled into a view or way of seeing the world. This can happen no matter the media we can consume.
Trial by media happens so frequently but we don’t even blink an eye. I saw something recently where a politician in Australia left politics because of the media shaming she experienced based on a series of anonymous complaints released to the media. You can see the total set up in things like this to put pressure on someone so that they crack. There was no evidence, no court decision, nothing like this, but the media could apparently use the complaint as fact, even though none of the complaints were being shown to be true. If we don’t start to speak out, or at least stop consuming this style of media, nothing will change and unfortunately good people with continue to be hurt and we all miss out on what this person may do to support the community as a whole.
Universal Medicine is loved by its clients and staff equally, for they know the integrity that it is held in.
There are areas of the world with oppression and brutality beyond what most of us can imagine, I am well aware of that and relatively there is much to appreciate in the ‘free’ world. But at times I am so alarmed by the complacency with which we live. For example every day watching hundreds of people reading the same free paper and wondering if they are aware that at least half of what is printed is fabricated by a journalist who wants to meet a deadline, let alone the bias of the editors which colours the whole thing, is somewhat concerning.
Wow! What a bomb shell! Here we are supposedly living in a ‘free market’ but if we don’t conform we are bullied and quashed with lies from the media – “communism without a leash” — “the illusion of freedom”.
Yes we are definitely not as free as we like to think we are as a society and so it is great that Serge Benhayon is willing to bring these conversations so we can become more honest about the world we live in.
Observing and exposing the veil of misogyny in every area of my life is a very much needed part of my unfolding to counter this evil force or heavy consciousness. It is through calling it out and speaking up that this energy is laid to rest.
I agree with you Toni, as when Serge speaks about the students of Universal Medicine and how they should be studied, there is this sense that there is so much there already built within the lives of the students that would indeed inspire those who are open to change.
More and more our freedom is taken away from us, bring back truth with freedom.
Yes Fiona, it certainly has supported me too to see and feel more as to what can actually go on in the media and I sense I have much more to be aware of and see that is not pretty. I cannot turn a blind eye like I used to because I am beginning to get a sense of my responsibility no matter how painful and sad it is and my part especially as to what I have allowed – the lies and untruths said which I have not spoken up against.
I find it very interesting that the qualities of tenderness and fragility as spoken about in this interview are frowned upon and seen as weaknesses in society. It makes sense to me that there has to be more at play here than what we are educated or raised up with. It then begs to ask the question as Serge Benhayon ends this interview with ‘are we producing a society that freely allows men to be tender and women to be sacred and precious or are we producing a society that is crushing this?’
It is sad to see that our society currently views tenderness as a form of weakness because tenderness is in fact a strength. I am only beginning to understand the true meaning of tenderness through what Serge Benhayon has been presenting. Thank God Serge knows tenderness inside out because he lives it through and through. We all need to know the true meaning of tenderness and start to live this intelligence once again.
‘We have not evolved past the dark ages’. What once was the Catholic church hunting down ‘witches’ – women offering healing, we now have the media and evidence based science hunting out and lying about anyone offering anything that challenges vested interests.
Too me the problem we are faced with is that we do not live in a free society, it is very much controlled I feel by the huge multi-national corporations the Politian’s seem to be career Politian’s and in some cases are funded by the corporations, so they ‘toe’ the line. And while we as a race of human- beings allow this to go on, nothing will change and to me there seems to be little impetus for a change. We have got what we in fact asked for.
Its interesting how the media barons are protected by the law .. it makes me ponder and many would be aware how many other institutions and industries are also protected by the law? So, where do we stand with the law? Is it also corrupted? I know it is .. and why do we live with it knowing they are? I can also say it about my industry IT — everywhere I work I see the same issues of the customer not being met for who they are instead they are looked at being lesser because they do not understand IT. IT has been setup to be complex. Also, when I research IT or study new stuff there is not many if any who share how the IT works. This is a huge consciousness and I know what I’m going to do to make IT simpler if not expose it not bringing us closer but separating us more and more eg. Virtual Reality – if your connected to your body like I am when you operate it, my head starts to spin and I do not feel balanced no more. So, all this stops us from connecting to who we are. Whenever I experience this force to disconnected I know it is my God given right to connect to who I am look at exposing it as trying to disconnect me.
What an amazing way to start a conversation, by saying that: “At the root of all we are all the same. So when one body speaks the truth, it speaks on behalf of all bodies.” Serge Benhayon. From this point, which is a foundation for the whole conversation set, it is clear that all that will be said, will be said from a collective point of experience and not from one person’s isolated perspective or agenda. Serge sets the standard here for how true communication can begin and for what its true purpose can be.
The part you highlighted is inspiring Shami and it remind us all of our responsibility to express truth. This is something many of us tend to shy away from. For me, I have been deeply inspired by Serge Benhayon to step out of my shyness and holding back, and start expressing truth.
