Episode 2 - Business and Evolution
What does the economy of the future look like? After the inevitable collapse of industries that destroy the health and wellbeing of populations and continue to bankrupt nations; when greed is eventually no longer the driving force behind business, what will take its place – what does ‘love in business’ look like? What is the correlation between money and our kidney energy or ‘life force’ and what would happen if we did business in the understanding that our return on investment will always first and foremost be energetic? In this episode Serge Benhayon reveals why money is not the root of all evil and why ‘God is Business’.
We have been lied to about cigarettes, about the harms of sugar and many other products – “what makes us think that we haven’t been lied to about Spiritualism?” In the second half of this episode Serge Benhayon discusses the true nature of the spirit, spirituality and the Soul — it is not what you might think.

Segre has re-written what is means to heal now it’s time to relook at how to be in business. There is no aspect of life that the soul cannot change for the better
A truly rich package on the business of life, delivered with such unfathomable understanding.
I love the depth of Serge’s understanding that people have free will and are therefore free to choose something like cigarette smoking even if it is harmful. There is a sense of eternal patience in the knowing that we are all evolving at our own pace and that our habits will eventually drop away once we start to listen to our bodies enough to register the harm we are doing to ourselves as being greater than the need to suppress our hurts. He speaks about the wily spirit here which is the part of us that avoids taking responsibility and which will do anything to sustain its sense of identity. This is the missing link that explains why we can be so unintelligent when we claim to be an intelligent species.
Great to have some meaningful TV shows. Business and Evolution gives a new way of doing business which, as Serge says, is not really new – it is ancient though it seems new because it is different from the norm. There is no cut-throat competition, true business is based on principals of love, equality and evolution and it grows a product that supports humanity to evolve.
An amazing interview to watch and feel at ease with everything the presenter and interviewer share so lovingly together with an ease and equality. This episode brings the truth of business as a divine blessing for us all with love and humanity as the way forward and purpose instead of greed and individualism.
Imagine if work was not just something that you slog it out at each day, that you don’t count the minutes for the day to end so you can ‘get out of there’. Imagine if your work was viewed as a meaningful offering to other people that you enjoyed delivering each day and needed no relief from. Now that would be a the foundation of a great life.
I know we need to seriously look at the foundation of many of our businesses and organisations, because I am often staggered with how low we have allowed things to get in terms of greed, lack of care, dishonesty and one-upmanship. Buying, manipulating and falsifying scientific research is one example, patents that dominate and control the accessibility of vital resources is another, strategising to put others out of business and deliberately misleading PR campaigns are yet more examples. But Serge Benhayon sets a new marker for the level of integrity, love and care provided by even the businesses that do care about doing the right thing and benefiting the public. Do we truly put people ahead of personal targets, and are we providing a service that supports humanity in its evolution? A thought provoking and deeply inspiring interview.
‘What is the correlation between money and our kidney energy or ‘life force’ and what would happen if we did business in the understanding that our return on investment will always first and foremost be energetic?’.
We rob ourselves of all the riches life has to offer when we only place value on money.
Serge Benhayon has been an ongoing support to our business, and I can say first hand that with his support we have been able to make it about people first, not profit. And if we have the people right, then everything else takes care of itself. And yet so many businesses forget this. But we have the opportunity to redefine business here – and this episode should be seen by every CEO or senior in the corporate world. A revolution in how we see business.
At the moment we have many large and profitable businesses that create products that are harmful to humans; Serge Benhayon shows how businesses can serve humanity, helping society to grow and evolve, returning to the collectiveness that we originally come from.
This TV interview offers a profound change in perspective of how business can be run without greed, and not at others expense.
As I listen to Serge about Whole body mindedness I can’t but help sit up and engage in what he is talking about, it is like all my cells in my body are being called to listen and they absolutely love it.
To view our work, business and the services that we provide from the perspective of does it help people grow? is a huge wake up call. It means that we each individually and then as a collective can take responsibility for the way that we live and impact each other.
I love the idea that God is in business. For so long God has been pictured as the big man in the sky who looks upon us with judgement. Now, I can feel God can be seen in everything that I do, and is an integral part of all that I do, and in this I am supported to find the truth.
There are many things that Universal Medicine does and presents that will be very much worthy of future study. Models of business, evolutionary relationships, and depths of self-love to name a few that are the ways of the future for all. I have no doubt that the foot print we leave now will be very much taken notice of in the years to come.
A great insight into how we as a race can reduce what ever it is we want to fit into a picture that keeps us from our innate intelligence and serving humanity as a whole in truth, so we can all evolve and know ourselves and each other as equals.
If we got taught this scientific approach to our life, money and business then life would be very very different. The responsibility that we have for ourselves and respect would be over and beyond what we have for ourselves today.
Love instead of greed, generosity instead of self-focus, care of people instead of just targeting profit, evolution instead of competition. I love hearing Serge Benhayon speak. Many would say it is not possible to run a business in this manner, at least not within the current climate. It is a breath of fresh air hearing someone express so clearly that it IS possible to run a very successful business exactly like this, and what is more to be able to show concrete proof of that through the business that they have been running for well over a decade.
Bringing love into business is the complete opposite to doing business from greed or a place of self aggrandisement.
Firstly we need to look after our body. Then we need to look after our skills and looking after our body is one of them. Being able to increase our earnings is a skill – there are lots of formal and informal skills we can learn and they have a decisive influence on how much money we make and keep. Thirdly, we need to know how to look after money.
Another brilliant interview of Serge Benhayon by Rebecca Baldwin: I just love how the topics evolved and expanded into other topics, where I had so many questions answered without having to ask them, so thank you Rebecca for asking them on my behalf. I particularly appreciate the exposing of industries that have nothing but profit on their agendas, apparently setting out to dupe the unsuspecting public into buying products that in fact are harming them. This sort of deceit needs to be continued to be called out, and I know that Serge Benhayon and others will not be holding back from doing so.
This is pure gold that I would recommend everybody to watch for even if you are not involved in running a business you are in the business of life and if we all ran our business of living in the way that Serge Benhayon is presenting we would all be evolving ourselves and each other very rapidly simply by tuning in and listening to the intelligence of the human body, our very own body’s messages and adhering to them; and making life about people first. How could we possible smoke cigarettes, drink poisonous substances, fight with our neighbors or go to war against other human beings if we are listening to our body’s intelligence and making it about people first?
It is very true to say that money is not the root of all evil but rather how we spend it – money can be used to harm or to heal – and we have a responsibility in true business to be aware of this. And the difference that we feel when we use money to heal is enormous.
The only way to truly enjoy business is to make it about people.. This makes so much sense as what most of us love most about our work is the people we work with.
It is when we make our business about people that we take the word “work” out of the equation and it becomes part of our everyday. No longer a chore, a profession or an income on its own. The living business model that is Serge Benhayon!
I reviewed how I spent my money in the past, I used to buy food and drink that did not support and it would be a huge part of my budget each month, but energetically where was my money going…I wasn’t building anything, I was allowing anything to be nurtured, grown, I was in a way throwing the money away. I now am more wise with my money, I spend it with care, I consider, is this self nurturing, caring, building something of purpose…? This choice supports all areas of life.
And the cumulative effect of that change over time will be astounding. Well done.
There is a very unusual quality here that can be felt here in both the interviewer and the interviewee. Both people are very steady, open and un-imposing, with no agenda or axe to grind. Consequently what is presented is done so in an energy that feels open hearted and engaging with zero need to incite our emotions or rouse our fears. Instead what we are presented with is the power of honest information that clearly links the quality of a choice with the quality of an outcome and hence delivers a deeper awareness of the impact of our daily choices. When we are fully and completely informed, we have the power to make true choices, choices that nurture our evolution personally, collectively and universally. Subsequently what I realise for myself is that I have for too long accepted the rot we all in live without question rather than questioning why the rot is here in the first place, what mis-information have I/we accepted for far too long that is steadily draining the life force out of us?
Great question to consider “what mis-information have I/we accepted for far too long that is steadily draining the life force out of us?”. Although this episode and the others on this series present a lot of information for us to reflect on, they are “open hearted and engaging with zero need to incite our emotions or rouse our fears”. There is no claim to be better or wiser, no pressure to agree, no imposing and no agendas. If anything I find each episode invites me to realise there is more to life than I have settled for and that I have the power, wisdom and the love within me to make a difference.
The things we buy are doorways to two different paths. One leads me to be more of me, the other to be less of me. To have true teachings around that assist us in learning to discern the two – is a gift from heaven.
Evolution is the new black and it can be worn to any occasion – work or play, morning, noon or night.
“What would happen if we did business in the understanding that our return on investment will always first and foremost be energetic?” What a great question. I look forward to that day. The lack of integrity in business dealings, the manipulation of the public through withholding of information and lying about the benefit of the products, the competition between businesses instead of cooperation between them, the focus on financial profit at the expense of people will all be history.
The business of growing, expanding and developing people is what business is all about.
It is so refreshing to watch an interview where there is not the usual theatrics and antics that go on in TV interviews of point scoring, tension between the people, vying for superiority, pretend friendliness, abusive banter, emotional outbursts or intellectual rants etc. Both people in this interview clearly have a connection and equality with each other and to the purpose of the interview so that it flows naturally between the two like a great conversation that naturally produces great wisdom and greater understanding through that connection of the subject at hand. A great blueprint for how interviews should be in my opinion.
Got to Love how Serge brings it back to the truth of what is going on and calling a spade a spade or should I say exhaustion is exhaustion no matter how much we want to side track it with coffee. It can be hard to get honest about our choices but once we do we open the door for making changes.
When the principles of business presented here are generally practiced and taught throughout the world then there will be true brotherhood.
Evolution and Business goes hand in hand with the product that is evolutionary and grows our economy without greed – not just supply and demand but also quality. Humanity will get to this as more and more is exposed so ultimately our economy can grow and contribute to our evolution. An amazing sharing between interviewer and inteviewee with a quality that is outstanding and very loving, with truth and our choices clearly exposed.
To look at business as divine, to see it is about relationships first and foremost, would have seemed impossible to me in the past. But if we look at the business model of Universal Medicine – this is breaking the very conventions. This episode is so relevant in communicating that we all have the ability to know, run and be involved in true business.
I really appreciate the engagement between interviewer and interviewee, Rebecca and Serge. I was struck by the equalness between you both. More an evolving chat than an ‘interview’. Thank you for the amazing wisdom you both share.
Does the product help people grow and evolve? And if not then there really is no point to the product. It is so simple and so clear. Imagine what the world will be like if we only invest our focus and resources to this level of quality.
There are many products in the current market that are far from there to help people grow. This business model is gold as it brings so much accountability to all and calls us to look at what is not working that we continue to support in the global market.
Business and Evolution are two words that would not automatically be associated with each other. But what Serge explains here is that our everyday business and commerce can be made to offer evolution AND make good business sense.
At last we have some TV viewing that is worth watching! And there are so many interesting points raised that make so much sense. Really looking forward to more episodes!
Could this sort of TV help us to truly understand the purpose of business and its potential? As always Serge Benhayon delivers the truth of business and gives us something to deeply consider. Is it really about money competition and power or is there something bigger at play.
As in all Serge Benjhayon’s presentations, the reminder and the depth of honouring of the magnificence of our true nature in relationship to business is absolutely exquisite.
The future – nothing to fear! The much needed corrections that lead to harmlessness in the business-world are already being delivered today to all who ask for it.
There is so much in this episode. The understanding of our ‘spirit character’ and our evolution to being soulful shared here is hugely informative and illuminating. The reference to the ‘revolving fridge’ makes it so practical and understandable.
This is revolutionary how business can work and the potential of it being for the greater, not just about self interest. How every cell in our body is related to the whole and that this cannot be compartmentalised in any way shape or form, including money.
Wow this program is great, having been in business for 9 years there is so much to understand, especially how our life force is our kidney energy. How the true flow of money is and investing in our evolution will give a true return. This is a great episodes one I will be watching over and over again.
When I spend money on Universal Medicine events, workshops or through Esoteric practitioners every single time I get so much more than the physical cost of the course or treatment. It keeps on rolling throughout my life or certain teachings pop back in when needed. Which has highlighted to me how much that when we purchase something it’s not just at the point of using the product or service that we are affected or benefit from but it actually keeps on circulating over and over again.
And what I have found that any energy or money (which is energy) spent in lovelessness costs far more than I care to be aware of at the moment of agreement and takes it’s payment with interest just as continuously if I keep choosing to invest in such.
This is a great point you make Leigh, of how you are aware of the different experiences between a product with the quality of love and one that is loveless that you have purchased.
Business is about people first – what a motto to live by. Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine live and practice this to the nth degree in everything they do and what is achieved is truly wonderous.
What will our world look like if every business, service and product was produced with the sole intention of evolving us, evolving our awareness and connection to our true wisdom? We seem to focus all our intentions on evolving our material realm, ‘iphones’, watches, ‘Sat Nav’ and so on, yet we pay little attention to the fact that the quality of our personal, social, national and international relationships have barely moved on, as evidenced by the level of racism and number of wars currently playing out around the world. I love the way Serge Benhayon re-focuses the lens so to speak on what our true responsibility is in life and in doing so restores a true dignity to us, a dignity available to all of us if we so choose to return to a far greater expression of our selves than we are currently accepting.
True business as being reflected to us by Universal Medicine supports all equally, business owner, staff, clients… I am grateful to call myself living proof!
Thank you Felix Kremer for sharing that you are living proof and that there are examples of business models that do not put profits over people. Inspiring TV that is having a marked effect on people around the world. This is what I call quality TV watching!
Absolutely Felix, Universal Medicine have raised the bar and given the world a beautifull template of how business can truly be. Making it about people, love and equality. When we love, care, honour and treat ourselves with respect this then can be how we are with others. If we are stressed, rushed, driven, make it about money, sales and not quality then this will be what the other person receives. I have recently heard of a business that declared themselves bankrupt several times and are now starting out again, the energy they are in now is the same as what was before nothing has been changed, healed or looked at so the momentum of the past is carried into the future. With this there will be no ‘success’ only more of what has been before because they have not yet truly stopped to feel what they are creating (a mess), addressed and changed this. And how can your business be ‘successful’ when you have no money to pay the staff all the hours they are working! Shocking really.
It is easy to say that we come from the apes, although personally I do not like that idea, what do we in fact say with that. Is it to mask our responsibility for the way our world is today? Looking at our today’s societies makes clear to me that something is not OK, the life we as human beings live doesn’t match the joy and harmony I can feel lives inside me. Should our world not be a reflection of our true selves – of that joy and harmony? I can now see that I have a responsibility in that which can start by acknowledging that I am much more intelligent then I allow myself to be, and with that I feel to let go the idea that I come from the apes or from Adam and Eve.
Free Will is something that I used to struggle with, because I couldn’t quite let go of judging and what I think someone should be doing. To be able to allow another to be where they are at is super important and no wonder Free Will is a Universal Law – something that cannot be avoided.
I love these episodes so much.
It’s common sense yet revelatory to look at business as something that should first and foremost be about the service, not the profit, yet within that a successful business model run in this way can still make good money. If a service is offering something of benefit to customers and isn’t needing to leave another in a lesser position to do so then surely this is a business model we should laud and replicate. At present too much business is run on the basis of squeezing as much money out of people or work out of people for too little money, and this to me is not how business should be run.
Everything Serge shares here about business is the anthesis of the greed and self aggrandisement this runs all through the global economy.
Not attempting to ban something that is harmful but being honest of the harm it does and allowing the individual to make their own choice without judgment is true unconditional love.
There is so much to digest in just one interview and love how the temporal issues are always taken to a much deeper level of awareness, all the while being provided with simple tools for the way ahead. Stop arguing, start being honest, create a relationship with our bodies and make whole-body choices that arise from the universal intelligence that our bodies are connected to.
What an understanding – God, the Master Business Man!!!!
I agree as Serge Benhayon says “It is not about arguing…” So often we try to be right, prove our point, and what evolves from this experience? Lets talk about what we are really observing, ‘being right’ will not bring harmony, understanding and an honest look at what is going on in humanity will support us. Living a responsible life and being accountable for ourselves first, rather than pointing the finger at another, will support us to truly build relationships and bring the harmony that we all feel and seek. Arguing is one big distraction.
Absolutely Samantha, arguing is one big distraction. It really is not about being right or wrong. It really is about what is truly going on in humanity and how can we take responsibility to support change moving forward.
Serge Benhayon has brought clarity to the ways we often deal with this topic. Being ‘right’ brings no harmony and this episode shows that there can be another way where we have choices to make changes rather than ignore and carry on with living a way we know deep down supports no one in the long run.
I remember reading avidly books related to the soul. I was naturally drawn to them, but I didn’t necessarily know why. Even after reading these books I had no greater understanding on what the soul was or even that there was a difference between spirit and soul. Serge Benhayon is the only person who has presented this so clearly and consistently. Believe me when I say that him presenting this so consistently has been much needed, certainly from my own perspective as it has taken some time to really clock the wayward ways of my spirit.
What is foremost for me in viewing this is how Serge talks of our relationship with any lifestyle choice, there is no right or wrong but lets get honest about what certain things do to us. No more do we need science that sponsors certain outcomes. The more we build that relationship with truth, the more we build the relationship of having more love in our actions, and the less we will want to harm ourselves and another.
An incredible level of trust is built between people when you work in collaboration rather than competition and work becomes a joy rather than something tiresome that we need to grin and bear because we have bills to pay.
Very beautiful episode by Serge Benhayon and Rebecca Asquith. Humanity is being exposed and shown that we have chosen at some level to not see the actual truth. This could only exist due to the responsibility we have not taken – hence the lies that are now present in the world today. This episode shows that a world of opportunities and change is awaiting, and that we must all play our part, no matter the previous choices and consequences. Humanity should no longer hold ourselves ransom to deceit – but commit ourselves to more truth and honesty, personally and on a globe scale. Let’s get out of our comforts and expose things as this television episode has and make the world rich in reality and truth again thus bringing more harmony to mankind – which we all deserve. To accomplish this we need to see first what we have been doing. Responsibility is key , which was highlighted in this episode. We must all play our part.
Well said Amina – that is exactly it. The turmoil of ideals and beliefs keep up locked and far away from our oh so natural responsibility.
It is just so amazing to be able to watch something that is so worthwhile instead of all the other mindless stuff on TV. I got home from work today and watched this episode which answered some questions I was asking myself today about why I work so hard without being able to accumulate any money. Bring on the next episode but in the mean time I feel I shall be re-watching the first ones again.
Turning business on its head and bringing service and quality to the heart of all of what we do.
That turns the world around: dieting comes from the body which is telling us what its needs are when we listen to it, work with it and have love with our bodies and not choose a diet because we ‘should do’. And I always did know this, that is because I did not really go for diets when I was overweight, but what I was missing were the tools of how to connect to my body freely and understand it. Esoteric Yoga made a big difference here for me and of course all the healing courses I did to clear my body. From here, a deep connection and listening from the love I live in my body, the healing and loving choices come easily. I am in a flow then.
“what would happen if we did business in the understanding that our return on investment will always first and foremost be energetic?” it’s clear from watching this episode that we would consider far more deeply the purpose and the ripple effect of each business choice we make. It immediately brings a quality and integrity to how we run the business.
This is such awesome information, I love watching it. Serge Benhayon brings a refreshingly new awareness to life and in doing so, it asks me to re-evaluate everything I though life to be, even the purpose and value of Business. After all God is big business, he runs the Universe! Shouldn’t we be taking a few leaves out of his book?
Rowena I also love this what and why are we actually doing business, time to turn that on its head. It’s as if we get to understand true business now.
I recently wrote about withdrawing and mostly stopping viewing TV because of its harmful effects on my body and because of content that no longer informed truthfully. Again it isn’t TV that is at fault but how TV has been used, to mis-inform, grossly mis-interpret what is going on in the world, advertise products harmful to health, and glorifies sex, violence and irresponsible living. Serge Benhayon is using the media of TV responsibly and this is one TV channel I will definitely be tuning into.
As money represents life-force so it is the business of all of us to wisely spend our money and life force for the healing and evolution of ourselves and others.
Hi Mary, what Serge Benhayon shares about money representing life force not many people know about, in fact some people might even say ‘what is life force?’ That is why I love love love this tv because it discusses topics that many do not even know about and sheds truth on .. well the truth of what is happening in our everyday lives, in the world, in everything. Serge brings about a stop, a moment for us all to reflect and discuss and more importantly question and see things in a different way. We all would like to improve our relationship with money but here is the beautifull thing it starts with us first, our relationship with ourselves and how we live is ….. it ✨
The character that is running the show proves to be not to be that intelligent as it is avoiding to expose that it is failing to live a life that is true to our being but instead is only after its own pleasures and in that is harming our bodies in many ways, not that intelligent at all.
Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon are certainly at the forefront and leading the way of how a business ‘should’ be run. Their focus is on people first, and establishing a harmonious team that is there to serve. Most businesses make it about money first and clients second and staff third. We can learn much from Serge Benhayon and how he values every single person who walks in the door!
I have witnessed what you have shared here Henrietta Chang each day. Many businesses are putting profits over people. Just the other day I went to a store that was closing down and noticed one of the staff leaving at the end of the shift with a shopping trolley full of goods. I shared how they must have bought up big with all the bargains. The staff member replied … They company decided not to pay their staff with money choosing goods only so they could get rid of their stock. Watching this episode is a timely reminder of how business can be truly run so that everyone is held with equal respect and the services that is provided is of the highest quality with the enormous levels of integrity.
It is profoundly beautiful when we consider that every service or commodity exchange is an energetic exchange, and therefore an opportunity for true and loving communication. When looked at this way every thing we invest in, be it our weekly shop or high finance, is either circulating benefit or harm to our global community. Every transaction counts.
This is an episode I will be watching again and again as it is not only about business but about how business is life. I studied a Bachelor of Business at University and if this was what I was learning I would have been sitting on the edge of my seat every lecture to hear these truths about life.
Absolutely Vicky, how inspiring to hear about business that not only does no harm, but brings love and evolution to customers and clients, who in turn take that love and evolution to others. It’s a business model that has true brotherhood at its heart.
I made this experience – gave up smoking after establishing more deeply my relationships, gave up alcohol after deepening my relationship to me, and I gave up eating this or that (like sugar or dairy) with every expanding step I made. I would say this made me also more successful in life. And I have to say: I never ever ‘gave up’ something with a sorrow or a missing – I did let go of it because I did establish something else, by making loving, responsible choices, and so did not need the other harmful way of treating myself anymore.
It is a breath of fresh air to view TV where the presenter talks about a business model, which puts people before profits. A far cry from what is now considered the norm where profits margins and shareholders are they key focus on business success. A great piece of TV journalism that brings everything back to basic.
Love Serge Benhayon’s philosophy on the world, am totally inspired by how we sees what is truly going on and presents things in an open way. For instance ” we should let people smoke if they want to smoke but lets not lie about what it is doing” This opens things up to a whole new level of understanding, things are not ‘bad and good’ or ‘wrong and right’ there is an explanation for everything.
I like this Harrison, it isn’t about condemning anyone for their choices, but lets be honest about why we make choices that do harm our health, we could say it doesn’t make sense, and unless we look at the underlying cause it will never be something we truly understand. For me it isn’t enough to just say we like something, it tastes good, it relaxes us, we must go deeper and more honest with how we feel.
Yes, It is about knowing that every action has a reaction. That it is about communicating consequences to people so that we fully appreciate that when we do
Something it is not just 1 movement or action but the beginning of a series of events.
This is a big learning for running businesses, and for sure challenging because we have lost the connection with our evolutionary way of living long time ago. But if we return to making our lives about evolution, something we cannot escape, our businesses will naturally evolve to serve humanity instead of the harm we currently allow businesses to bring to our societies.
Nico thats a great point in that it is the responsibility and way we live as business owners that then naturally ripples out into the way businesses support humanity instead of fostering further the behaviours that are damaging to ourselves, our families and our evolution. From one episode Serge has turned on its head the way to approach business that also gets rid of the shark like competition.
I love this interview and it is an awesome way to look at money and business; what a great reminder again that money has to do with kidney energy first. And it is equally so important to get a clear understanding that money is not the root of all evil, but the way we use it as well as abuse it is what makes it so.
Oh my goodness where else in the world do you hear of people talking of humanity truly moving forward? Erm, currently pretty much nowhere! An awesome exposure of how we are living has not been loving. For true change to happen does it only take for us to love ourselves and our bodies more? Developing a relationship with our body. So much shared here business, evolution, humanity, science ………
Yes Vicky Cooke its the first TV episode that I have ever viewed that is not selling a product or pushing for a way to think or be. Serge Benhayon offers the world an opportunity to step back and view what is truly going on and at this stage the view of our current state is a far cry from its true potential to when we start putting love and care in our everyday living.
Love this Vicky and totally agree, the way that business life and people are discussed in order to look at and understand the real purpose of business is quite amazing. It’s not only deeply educational but also very simple.
What a great way of looking at business, “we are here to grow industries first” this takes away so much of the competition and fight that goes on. It brings a deeper sense of purpose to the business and also means that their is less hostility between one company and the next. In many ways it opens up the path for true collaboration for the benefit of all.
Yes “grow industries” not “individuals”. There is a definite difference in the two.
Having watched the first two episodes what stands out is the fact that no one area of life is lived in a compartment, that is all our life flows in and out of itself so I can say one thing, the truth of what I am living is what people experience – and that is my responsibility – how I choose to live.
I’ve noticed this too Judy. We can often block parts of our lives that are working well and others where we feel things are stuck not taking into consideration that the two are the one in the same! This TV viewing leaves so much to ponder on that is powerful beyond belief!
Business and Evolution are not words that are often used in the one sentence, it was very inspiring to listen to this episode. It asks us to consider what our true purpose is here, and what we are supporting by our actions; are we ‘selling’ ourselves short or supporting each other to evolve. Some great questions to sit with.
So true. Or we misuse these words for what they truly offer. We forget business is about people first and relationships, and that we have a responsibility to constantly inspire others to continue to evolve in their relationships.
I loved this episode, because as someone in business there are very few places to turn to get really solid advice that makes sense. I tried a few of the thousands of “business books” but they lacked the fundamental element of the true purpose a business can offer. I am looking forward to the next installment about business and evolution.
Business is about people first rather than products. Universal Medicine leads the way in showing how a business that has this at its core inspires and naturally expands. Quality is more important than quantity. This has been known for some time, but what about the quality of the people and their lives as they go about making the actual product or work in service? As Serge Benhayon has presented so often ‘energy is everything and everything is because of energy.’
The business that is Universal Medicine definitely leads the way when it comes to placing people first and to experience the care, integrity and respect they consistently offer, which is at the heart of their foundation, is profound. Just imagine how the shape of business and commerce would change if others were inspired to do so. It may take a while to change the models that we have in place today, but we can never underestimate the power of the ripple affect once one business says yes.
It’s fascinating to hear what it would look like if business was based on evolution, rather than competition, greed, scheming to take advantage of others. And as a consumer, there’s a level of self-responsibility we need to undertake to discern what we are spending our money on, and to consider that as an investment of energy, that which we are saying ‘Yes’ to therefore saying we want more of.
Great point raised Fumiyo Egashira in regards to what has been presented in this episode, it has also made me ponder on how I spent my money and what items I buy that are being sold with the true intent to support the consumer and what is based on margin profits for the stakeholders.
Great point raised here Fumiyo Egashira. When we give permission to consume products that show little to no integrity of the people and put profits in the forefront what are we saying yes to?
I agree, there is much power to be found in the consumers choice of product – it can either allow greed, corruption and a lack of integrity to continue or, by its discernment it can call for higher standards and greater integrity and respect
Discerning not doubt Fumiyo Egashira as there is so much that is offered to us in the market place that fuels corporate gains and leaves the customer depleted in more ways than one.
I was so inspired by Universal Medicines model as a business that I am now co-owner of 4 businesses. What has always struck me about Serge Benhayon is the way he conducts’ himself, making every decision about people and evolution first, from this position other business tools such has staff costs and over heads can be worked on but they are never at the fore front calling the shots.
This simple yet unorthodox approach is combined with bringing consistency in all areas of his life, making Serge Benhayon an extremely unique and successful business man in my eyes. I have sought much advice on a business level and council on a personal level from Serge Benhayon over the years I have known him and funnily enough the advice did not differ at all. I’ll explain, there is no business hat Serge wears or a family man hat, he is all things all the time and has supported me to approach life in this way, all encompassing. I remember him once saying to me that it doesn’t matter how much money you bring in if your home life or body is falling to pieces, he expanded by adding that would not be a measure of true success.
I haven’t watched TV in years as so much of what I saw was lies, repetitive, and left me feeling exhausted. A couple of nights ago I watched an episode of Serge Benhayon television and felt inspired to build a business that is about people and not only that but I slept really well after it too.
This is a truly inspiring episode to change any part of your work environment whether you are starting a business or working for another in their business.
It makes so much sense that we will eventually only have businesses that grow and support people to evolve. Business that is all about simply making money or even out of self-interest will eventually no longer be the norm. There are the obvious businesses that we look at now, but we may be surprised too at some of the businesses that we think are for the community but in fact are not. There has been an example of this where I live in that the government has banned dog racing because of the depth of cruelty that has existed for a very long time, with for the dogs and for other animals as well. This has not been an easy thing to address but an important one, so that we see that we have a responsibility to all life on this planet that we live, through the way in which we choose to live.
It is quite a simple statement: There will be a time in the future when business will not be able to sell food that harms people. With the current obesity epidemic we seem to be quite far from this time. Will there be a transition time where such food will be available but labels will show its impact, similar to what is happening to tobacco products?
This interview presents a whole new way of doing business and trade in the modern world that is based on an ancient wisdom and understanding. I loved the quote that money is not the root of all evil but it is how we use and abuse it that is. And it was refreshing and optimistic to hear that one day business will not be based on greed or self gain or competition or exploitation but based on a model that takes care of the people involved in the business but also takes care of everyone in society equally and supports us all to grow and develop as a human race.
Yes I also love hearing that one day businesses will be founded on taking care of people and supporting the whole of society to grow and evolve. What is also amazing is to know that this is not just a theory, but that Serge Benhayon has already shown for the past 17 years how possible, simple and natural it can be to run a very successful business on exactly such a foundation.
Yes Andrew Mooney I enjoyed viewing what you have shared here. A business model that supports everyone to grow equally is an incredible gift to humanity that has been shared by the teachings of Serge Benhayon, and shows a much needed change of that which is crippling our current way of business and trade.
Great in highlighting this Andrew ‘I loved the quote that money is not the root of all evil but it is how we use and abuse it that is.’ After reading this I could see we have used this quote to not take responsibility of how we live and what we choose. It is never about the object, in this case money, but in how we use it. It is very healing for me to read this. And Serge Benhayon TV … incredibly healing ✨
Yes and the quote or correction about how money is was a great one and certainly made me consider a lot. If refreshing to see people doing business truly and supporting each other in place of taking things away or trying to be better then each other. It brings things back to understand the larger picture or purpose to things. Are we here to get by or get things done or is there more to it?
‘Why do we spend so much money on harming ourselves?’ Some great questions answered. This interview covers so much more than just business. Returning to our true nature as we evolve as humans on earth…….bring it on. Thankyou Serge and Rebecca.
Indeed Sue – and not just money – we spend so much time and energy on things that don’t support us – a big game we play that is set to stop supporting ourselves and who we are. These sort of episodes deliver so much to the viewer and ask us to consider if there is another more loving way to be.
The investment in the outer, in order to fuel the emptiness on the inside is a big wake- up call that I have experienced for many years. This episode delivers so much in bring reality to the hidden agenda of many carried ideals and beliefs.
That question was a stop moment for me too with an invitation to consider my priorities in life where I have spent so much on items that were at best not supporting me and at worst actually self harming in one way or another. Even more ironic when considering that money is kidney energy, so I would have been actually using my own life force to harm myself – double whammy.
I feel that I could watch this over and over and still learn something new. I really enjoy watching something that leaves me feeling inspired rather than drained.
I find this too with Serge Benhayon’s presentations. There is always an invitation to go deeper and every time I revisit an episode I find my understanding expands and at times I magically hear something I could swear he never said before!
Throughout the ages business and being rich have constantly been tainted as something bad. As always the question is about quality: Of which quality is my business? Have I deepened or lessened the quality of other’s lives through my business?
Yes, bringing this awareness and responsibility to the way we do ‘business’ would truly transform our current model. If it is not serving all, it is not in truth a service we are providing.
Felix an amazing point, make business about Quality and everything of right and wrong, good and bad goes out the window and in that we get true success.
As Serge has always shared – business is about people and relationships first. This episode clearly shares the importance of that fact and bings a true way of looking at business. How deeply inspiring, as a businesswoman, to understand the importance of people first.
How wisely do we use our money. And on what basis do we run our businesses and choose the products we offer people? These questions are rarely discussed in such a deeply caring and inspiring manner. What humanity truly needs. I loved this episode.
There is so much on offer with this great TV watching in how we can use the money we earn to bring more understanding of how it supports us and benefits humanity. A great marker of change that is offered for us to ponder on.
Yes this episode certainly brings more to light with the way we are and are choices around money, business, products and life. We often divide things up and yet here we have the link between them all. You can’t go out into business or spend money without there being a flow on effect into all other parts of your life and life. The links or the connectedness is undeniable.
Considering that business is about people first, means that there is no separation between life, people, business, there is no separation in anything, everything is linked and impacted by all the choices we make. How we live is going impact on how we run our business and vice versa. The compartmentalisation that is often undertaken, is mistaken, if we are ruthless, insincere, slippery, tardy in work or life it will be felt in the other. And conversely, integrity, care, commitment, consistency in life will be felt in all areas of business. I used to think business is all corrupt, but am now in business. I run a business and I know the quality of it is based in the quality of life that I lead.
I agree Samantha, the quality of our family values do influence the quality of our businesses. When we run our homes with integrity, care, love and honesty, then running a business with the same values and qualities is so natural. Businesses run in such a way always pull customers in, because we all appreciate being valued and respected, we appreciate spending our hard earned cash in businesses that respect the exchange. True success is not based on profit alone, genuine service is the real key to lasting success coupled with the knowing that longevity relies on working together, not competing, so that everyone benefits from our commitment, service and products.
Such a rich episode, which conveys so much. But what stands out for me is the fact, that we need to work together and all contribute to our field of work or expertise if we want to arrive to a higher understanding and intelligence. The fact that we are at war with each other whether that is in form of actual war or verbal abuse or simple competition is our greatest downfall as human beings and prevents us from accessing the more that is available to us.
When we see the opposite we are often overwhelmed, but what can come from the ‘power of the people’ in bringing brotherhood to its rightful way of expression.
So true Judith. When we strive to out do each other in any format, we all loose. The level of intelligence that we access when we work together can never be attained through competition or war. Contributing our all to the all is our greatest attribute.
In this brilliant episode Serge Benhayon marries the Ageless Wisdom with business in a way that evolves everyone and is great food for thought asking many questions. Business is a constant exchange but what are we exchanging? Is it harming or is it healing ourselves and others? Are we growing through the exchange or are we retarding our growth in some way? Are we competing will each other instead of working beside each other adding to collectiveness? I love that business is going to change in the future as we tap more into the wisdom and intelligence of the human body; as we look at health from the inside out. This episode inspired me greatly and will be on my viewing list again and again as it shows us how imperative it is to really connect to our true intelligence and go beyond the indulgent human spirit so we can discern and how this in itself will change demand and supply.
I was having a conversation today about how many industries have implemented systems to monitor how quickly people on the check-out scan the items, or how quickly the postmen do their rounds, or how many phone calls a person takes in a set time frame. When time is money, and money is companies only priority, the people get totally left out of the equation and there is no consideration of them. This world is made of people, not of money, and it is our relationships with each other that hold the greatest value.
Rebecca your comment reminded me of a time I worked in a well known supermarket call centre. There was a top ten of the fastest employees at taking calls, and there was a cull of staff being done at the time. But the outcome of this was that we all cut corners to make ourselves look fast, to stay in a job. Not a very smart way for a business to operate, but what inevitably happens when people get left out of the equation in favour of making more money. The crazy thing is that this company was making billions, and could afford to treat its staff better.
I agree Stephen, but in a world that is driven in many many ways by greed and figures rather than by the people behind them, this will become the reality in many industries. The question being how far we push this trend until either it and the people within it break, or we wake up and see the trajectory of where we are heading.
Cutting corners in any business set up is cutting the quality the workers have the potential to bring. This in itself leads to the ripple effect on the customer. We are all connected to the chain and missing links lead to little to no support for the whole.
Choosing profits over people has become a demand of the big business model -that has now filtered into many areas of education and health.
That is so true Rebecca. When we truly sum up what makes a great service, it’s not how fast it got delivered it’s how we are treated by another human being that really matters. Money is important, as is making a profit so that it can be re-invested in the company, but it’s the people who really make a company successful and its services stand out in the crowd. When a company truly respects its employees as the most important asset it has, it will always put that company well ahead of the game.
It is interesting how the money factor takes centre stage yet “the word of mouth’ is often the calling card that brings people back to the business as they know that the finer details, shows the level of quality and care the company have to make their product or services about people first.
How often do we take into account the error rates and undue stresses we add to people when these monitoring systems are put into place? I see this regularly in shops and banks where customers are constantly asking why there are less front desk workers and offering the companies the simplest of ways to bring the quality back yet the greed factor once again takes the upper hand.
A business plan that models its vision and integrity on the best needs of the client and how to offer more and more is often the calling card of many- yet this is often not lived and experienced in our current business world. The huge learning that is offered in this episode brings such clarity to all fields of work where profits are often driven to make money/save money without consideration for those who are setting the foundation from which the model is based on.
Time = Money, yet where do the people come into the equation?
Good morning and loved this new form of TV. I’ve been in business for a number of years and enjoyed what is a fresh but age old look at business and what it truly means. Serge Benhayon gives us an approach that will give us a true choice in what we actually want when as it stands now the choice is anything but. This is an episode I’ll watch again and again.
When we make our business about capitalising with competition that leaves another less and we are offering the world a product that is not lived with the integrity that we may think is on offer.
The whole world working in collaboration rather than competition is the way that simply feels natural and yet this is not an accepted way in our current society, which works in many ways against the naturalness of how our bodies feel, in that we push and force ourselves to fit into a rhythm that feels absolutely invasive and abusive to ourselves. We have chosen competition and individualism at the expense of the true intelligence of our body, and we are harming not just ourselves, but also cementing a world which continues to self-harm. This is not to say that we have to or can instantly change our world, but let us also not lie to ourselves of what is truly going on.
Everything in the universe including our bodies reflect harmony and collaboration. Nowhere do we see one part competing with one another. I can not even imagine what such a thing would look like. The only areas at odds with this are the ones that humanity has created in our world.
It is evolutionary to understand that money is kidney energy (life force), it changes my entire viewpoint in how and where to delegate my money towards.
Absolutely Adele, this is a game changer for me!
Especially when you look at how money has been used to harm rather than heal.
It does put a whole different spin on money and our relationship with it. If we really stop to consider that it energetically represents the quality of our life force, which has a knock on effect on our bodies, how we spend it, what we do with it has so many more implications than we really want to realise. Are we ready to admit yet that the way we spend money has a direct effect on the quality of our energy and health?
I love it Rowena, how we spend it is crucial, for me I can be cautious with money, yet not spending money when we really could benefit from a purchase is as harmful as wasting money on something that we don’t need and doesn’t support us.
I agree the more we see everything as energy then life makes a lot more sense. Seeing money as life force takes away a lot of the images and pictures we have the surround it. I know all too well how easy it is to be flippant with money and effectively throw it away but what then am I doing with my kidney energy. I know I can only throw money away when I am not looking after myself. So there is a direct correlation between the way I am living and the way I am treating my money.
This weekend, I have watched an episode each evening and loved it. Best TV ever and I learnt heaps too.
What a great idea Rosie! Serge Benhayon TV Marathon!!
I agree Rosie – TV that checks you in rather than checking you out.
