Episode 7 - The Science of Responsibility

What is responsibility? Why, for the most part, do we avoid it at all costs? Is ‘responsibility’ obliging to the tedious practicalities of life under the guise of doing the ‘right’ thing? Or could it be more?

In this episode, Serge Benhayon and Rebecca Asquith discuss the science of responsibility. Could it actually be completely different to what we have imagined it to be?

When left unimpeded, animals act in their own best interest. Instead, humans knowingly make irresponsible choices that harm their health and relationships. To unpack this phenomenon, Rebecca and Serge explore the quality that makes up the ‘being’ in human being. Through a philosophical discussion on the difference between spirit and soul they explore why both the health conscious persona and habitual smoker can both end up with cancer.

The layered energetic understandings and sciences Serge Benhayon has become renowned for are explored in depth and the façade of modern life is again peeled back to examine what is really going on.

Absolutely Ariana as I said in a previous comment if we were taught these principles from young the world we live in would be so very different to the dog eat dog world we live in today. This way of living is so far removed from our true way of being. These episodes of SB.TV are a loving reminder of who and what we are and more of what we are all capable of.

Rachel you are spot on with your observations on our spirit and soul and their polar opposite different characteristics. I feel our spirit hides within and goes undetected as we have not been taught about the difference between the two, that was until Serge Benhayon started presenting on the differences. Until we become aware of the deceitful and cunning way the spirit manipulates us and we can call it out, we will never be free of its slippery, cunning and conniving ways.

I am a natural part of the livingness that Serge Benhayon espouses, He has shown the world through his natural way of living that there is a way to live simply and in harmony with oneself and all others. Why is it we don’t take this way of living into our hearts and live from there? Where we are harmless as a humanity, and which ends abuse, violence and war?

I have started to feel this other part of me Gill the being of the human-being and I can feel a natural power, so that I am developing a sense of what my body can feel. To me this is true sensitivity where I can feel is something feels right or not. Just like animals have a 6th sense I would say I was reclaiming my 6th sense, something I know I had as a child and then lost all connection to as I grew up.

“The answer to all our conditions lay in the difference between our spirit and our soul”
Is it possible that if we were to take a deep dive into the science of our spirit and our soul that we would discover the root cause of illness and disease? And the answer has to be a big fat yes, but currently humanity doesn’t seem to have reached a point where we are so ill and rotten with disease that we are prepared to look at this particular science, I believe there will come a time when we will for sure. But like most things we will only go there when the solutions we have put in place will not work any more

For me Serge is on the front foot straight way when he says that there is a multi-dimensional being inside of us that is worth cherishing and that this is the part of us we show to the world. Not that we are the human that the world has made us to be.
For many of us we are the human that the world has made us to be, but this isn’t who we are in truth and this is where the inspiration comes into play because we do know that there is a different way to live and be and to be given a choice where we thought there was only one outcome is the best medicine ever.

Even though I’ve watched this a few times, I learn so much with each viewing. I certainly experience that part of me that acts contra to my best interests, and when I am in that it can feel like that is the only reality. When I switch back to soul the breadth of love, intelligence and understanding is huge, as is the natural impulse to nurture myself. I also liked the reference to this abnormality not existing in the animal world, it is true and something people have commented about to me over the years, that there is something about us stands out as not belonging to the natural order and harmony nature displays.

Melinda reading your comment ‘that there is something about us stands out as not belonging to the natural order and harmony nature displays.’
I had a flash back to my childhood and a Biology lesson where this was discussed as part of the lesson that we as Human- beings stand out like sore thumbs in nature because we are not in harmony with it, quite the opposite in fact. We have destroyed nature and have upset the balance in our arrogance and ignorance that has us falsely believing we are the more intelligent species. But just how intelligent are we when we have polluted what actually sustains us? If we look around at our planet the only one that can as far as we know can sustain life, where has all our so called ‘intelligence’ got us? Just one example of our arrogance and ignorance is that we have decimated the humble Bee by using pesticides and herbicides that kill insects this cocktail of poison also kills our greatest pollinator, the Bee. If the crops are not pollinated then they will fail and we human-beings will go hungry and probably fight over who gets what little food that can be grown. This is just one example of our not so intelligent, intelligent selves.

Do we really still get shock and devastation when a cancer diagnosis is being issued? Or has it become so normal that we just get on with life, continue how we have been going & hope for the best? We are becoming numb because it is happening so often. Yet, we are quite content at not knowing what causes it.

Responsibility is not to tick boxes, it is to perform whatever we are performing in mind with energy and all that it encompasses.

  • Viktoria April 6, 2019   Reply →

It is not just about looking good, or making sure that we have done everything perfectly. It is irresponsible to do our job and think ill of our manager, it is irresponsible to clean another person’s home and judge them while doing it. It is irresponsible to cook a meal while criticising our husband, children or friends. All of that is felt, all of that impacts those who come in contact with what we put out.

It’s a science, it’s common sense – everything is a science in this world of ours, we just need to be explorative & curious to find out.

    • Mary June 21, 2020   Reply →

It seems to me Vikroria that we have manipulated science into a mental exercise where we know the results we want and massage the findings until it matches the results we want usually at the behest of the giant corporations that have paid for the research in the first place. This is not true science. In the past we allowed religion to dictate life now we are allowing science to rule over us but what if it was one and the same energy just under a different guise this time round?

How many of us are truly responsible in all that we do? Do we sometimes think horrible things about people only to see them on the street and give them a smile in justification & deceit to hide away all that has been going through our heads? Do we ever do our job & wish we were somewhere else, doing something “more responsible” only to get recognition and a pat on the back for the “changes we are making in society”. If we look at responsibility the way it is presented by Serge Benhayon, we may get shown up for all our irresponsible behaviours.

    • Mary April 3, 2020   Reply →

It feels to me that as we deepen our connection back to our inner heart responsibility comes as part of the package as it were. I can feel my responsibility to me and all others by reflection deepen as I go deeper within me so that it feels so natural, why wouldn’t I be responsible? There is no effort or trying it is just what it is, a feeling of not wanting to be or act in a way that harms another.

To be honest and live in a way that is true to me I am becoming aware of that which gets in the way of living this way, for instance looking at the reasons as to why I contract? We can dull our light and the way in which we do this can vary greatly from one person to the next. Recently I became aware how I react or rather compare myself to another who I regard as more intelligent (mental intelligence) than I. I would contract. I also got a sense of the frustration within when this was happening. However I also got a sense of the discomfort within the other whom I found was intelligent and the game that was being played or carried out. Regardless of mental intelligence I cannot be fooled by energy and the more I see, acknowledge, accept and become aware of energy at play, the more I live the truth of who I am and the true intelligence within me.

Caroline Francis I feel one of the greatest presentations from Serge Benhayon is on energy and that everything happens because of energy first. Reading energy is so liberating because as you say we can never be fooled because we read the energy coming through someone, rather than being swayed by their personality. It’s a fascinating science and something we can all do.

I hear many people say they are well when they experience quite a number of physical ailments or they simply forget when they are discussing there health. There is an overall expectation that this is what happens when you age. Whilst there is the fact that we live in a body that does age how we age very much depends on us and the choices we make.

    • Mary May 15, 2021   Reply →

Jennifer like you I hear many people say they are well, but when I take the conversation deeper they actually are not well at all, but are seemingly silently struggling with their ailments. Just scratch beneath the surface and there is a whole different scenario happening that many people do not want to talk about. It’s as though we have to keep up a facade that life is okay when actually the complete opposite is true. I wonder when collectively we are going to admit that the life we are all living is a sham, it is not working as the walls are falling down around us.

  • Jennifer Smith January 14, 2019   Reply →

Something Rebecca said about the being being wayward given all the medicine we need and the levels of illness and disease from lifestyle choices that we have. Considering this and the being that is running the body that would think that we can essentially do anything to the body and that medicine will be their for us to pick up the pieces of our wayward choices. Medicine and healthcare is now facing head on the ramifications of these choices because what medicine can currently do is only manage symptoms. The rest is up to us and the choices we make. This is not something that only affects the person and their families and those that work in healthcare, but all in the community.

The difference between spirit and soul is very distinctly felt in the body, but until I came back to reconnecting to my soul the way I felt as a spirit was reality, it felt like all there was. Melinda in the 21 years or so that Serge Benhayon has been presenting on the only two energies that exists in our plane of life spirit and soul, many of us as you say are now willing to feel the difference between the two energies in our bodies. What I have noticed is the push back from the spirit when it has been outed so to say, the push back can be quite intense, as it does not like being found out as the energy running our bodies and much less on being exposed, it doesn’t care one jot about the harm it is doing to our bodies as long as it gets its way.

  • Mary January 10, 2019   Reply →

Having studied the teachings of Serge Benhayon for some years now it make complete sense to me to hear these words
“to be the being in the world and not the being that the world has made us to be”
We are living the unease of this and the enormity of it I feel is reflected in our current rates of illness and disease, as we are not living who we truly are and this is impacting our bodies.

  • Golnaz Shariatzadeh January 7, 2019   Reply →

Most of us take pride in our ability to shirk off acknowledging that our choices have an impact and that we set off ripple effects every time. In fact many dream of the day they have loads of money so that they can just do as they please without having to be responsible or accountable to anyone or anything. Yet the true nature of humanity is living in love, care and unity, and we will experience issues with our physical bodies, our relationships and our societies as long as we keep acting otherwise.

  • Jennifer Smith December 22, 2018   Reply →

What Serge shares about the impact of diseases on the social fabric of our society is very true. I work in palliative care and we see a number of young people in our service and the number of younger people seem to be on the increase. When I say young I mean less that 70. We have a number of people in their 40’s, 50’s and 60’s who are dying. Whilst I know that death can occur at any age, there is still a proportion of these that are dying before there time and I know from experience that there is a different effect on those around with those that died younger compared to those who died and they are elderly.

    • Mary December 31, 2020   Reply →

Jennifer I noticed this too, I worked until recently as a volunteer at a hospital, and noticed that women being admitted onto the wards with broken hips were getting younger, it was no longer just the 80 and 90 year old’s. And that in the men’s ward the men that came in with dementia were getting younger too. If this is happening in one hospital, I wonder what other hospitals are experiencing and if it is being recorded to see if there is a trend developing?

If we familiarise ourselves with the difference and observe, the ill and limiting impact of the spirit and the vitalising and expansive nature of the Soul can be felt and known in every single aspect of human life.

I have never heard anyone explain that there is a being within us that is worth treasuring! I guess that is why we are called human-beings because there is a human part and a being part. This I have come to understand for myself as for many years I only understood what it was to be human, because this is how we are educated to rely on our mind. Since attending the workshops and presentations I have discovered within me this being that Serge Benhayon talks about and it is quite fascinating because the more I allow myself to feel this other part of me the more I want to explore what else there is to find. My family has watched me change over the years from someone who was mentally unstable blossom into a very confident and joyful woman and all because I connected to the being part of the human-being and I can tell you it is so worth it.

I find it incredibly empowering when I get a sense of what it actually means to ‘save ourselves.’ It simply makes absolute sense for how can we learn and grow when we think, believe, want and need another to save us. ‘Saving ourselves’ is the ultimate responsibility for taking stock for everything that happens to us in life.

Caroline Francis, false religions have pitched the sales deal that they can ‘save us’. I keep coming back to the section where Serge is talking about how we can live with a terminal illness but we can live with a joy, because the illness is not within the being aspect of ourselves and just in our body. We need to be having much broader conversations about illness and disease. At present illness and disease is deemed as bad if its present and good if its not. We need to look beyond this to see what is really being presented by our bodies. What is it communicating?

    • Golnaz Shariatzadeh December 10, 2018   Reply →

It’s a great point about the health and fitness of our being, and how this goes hand in hand with the physical body and its health and fitness. I know for me when I feel down or miserable I don’t tend to make great choices for myself which impact my body, conversely if I’m really connected to my being (my soul), feeling amazing, and really shining then my whole body feels alive and amazing also, and I treat myself with care. We really can’t extract the two.

Jennym I have just reached a deeper understanding of being in the ‘doing’ rather than just being. My own understanding is that the ‘doing’ actually requires a huge amount of effort. Without me doing anything, somehow my body has slipped into more of just being, I can now feel that the ‘doing’ has a huge amount of control in it, whereas just being is a settlement in our bodies. To feel for myself that there is a way to live that just allows our bodies to be is very freeing because no one has imposed this on me. I have found this out for myself by applying the principles of the presentations of Universal Medicine and Serge Benhayon. Serge Benhayon gives humanity the tools of life, what we then do with the information given is entirely up to us. Which is unlike any other form of education I know of which I felt was force fed to us in such a way that we just regurgitated the information back out in order to pass the exams.

Shami, when you break the whole to see how it is made up you no longer have the whole. That is where reinterpretation enters. Historians and scientists are great reinterpretators of truth; they change the facts to suit their own interests or the interests of their sponsors who are paying them to either change how history is perceived or to change the research to suit the findings of the company that has paid them to carry out the research.

Serge makes it all so simple. He is a master at that. No matter what complication we can create in human life he sees through it by breaking it into the simple lie it is. It is very inspiring to feel a man so committed to living such truth and such love so simply in every moment of every day life.

It is beautiful that responsibility is always about ourselves, how we hold ourselves, how we live and thus what quality we reflect to others. So this throws blaming out of the game because we always have the reins in our own hands, as in how we will react to a certain situation, however off the other person is – that is their own responsibility.

  • Joshua Campbell September 25, 2018   Reply →

I can understand why some would react quite harshly to the proposal that every single moment that we are in affects the All, regardless of who can see us. However, it would be wise to deal with this reaction knowing it stems from a refusal to be open to a possibility, rather than attack that which simply asks the question.

    • Mary February 5, 2022   Reply →

Michael I agree with you that some react quite harshly to what is being presented to the world. But is that because deep down we do know the truth of the science of what is being presented but have fallen so far from the truth and therefore forgotten the science that to be reminded opens up a can of worms we would rather not address but sweep under the carpet because it all feels to much to deal with? We live within cycles and those cycles are constantly reminding us of who we are and the Ageless wisdom supports us all to reconnect back to the science which cannot be stopped just as we cannot stop the universe from expanding.

We don’t need to toughen up just finally see there is no one to blame for where we find ourselves – it’s all just a consequence of the choice we made.

Health is impacting on society on a much bigger level than we realise. As a nurse I see this everyday. Its not just the amount of people that we are seeing, but it is also how we as health professionals are working in this. We are stretched, working short staffed, staff off sick with no one to replace. We are off sick more often and coming to work sick too. Our health impacts all parts of life.

  • Natalie Hawthorne September 18, 2018   Reply →

If we stop and look at where we are and have been living as a society and in particular our health and increase year on year with illness and disease, what Serge Benhayon is presenting is that if we bring an Esoteric approach to it and connect to our being within and heal the energetic root causes then we are supporting the body to align and evolve with the being. Why wouldn’t we teach our young that they are absolutely awesome for just being who they are to prevent such damaging and horrific heath issues later in there lives. Its never to late to return to our natural way of being.

It’s such a negative trait for society to want to dull down those that shine, that feel joy and can express their inner beauty. In Australia with the Tall Poppy Syndrome the standard is for everyone to be mediocre and contract away from their natural spark. We have no problem though with those that struggle, are in misery or depression, but if someone loves who they are and expresses that in full there’s a problem. We are all part of this and ironically once we allow ourselves to be affected and drop our shine we are more likely to want others to dull themselves down as well. It is so very poisonous because we don’t allow standards of human life to rise, nor allow inspiration from the inner beauty of others to ignite our own.

Our body is clearly communicating something to us and we are reluctant to listen. I see this reluctance everyday. Why are we making choices that are simply not good for our bodies and our wellbeing? Health care is sinking under the weight of the amount of illness and disease. Serge Benhayon is the only person I have heard that makes sense on this. He has certainly supported me and many other health professionals come to a new understanding of this firstly in our own lives but then how are we in these really difficult and complex systems of care.

One of the biggest revelations of this great discussion with Serge Benhayon and Rebecca Baldwin was the aspect that even if you are a super fit athlete who ‘does all the right things’ health and fitness-wise, those people can still drop dead suddenly when they have ignored the fact that they are living in a non-loving way, disconnected from their inner beingness (their essence/soul) and have looked to external things to fulfil them and find acceptance/love from those things, which is impossible in the end.

Today my life is building and I am responding to the natural impulse that is asking me to be responsible. And instead of it being a drudge something to be got through we made it about being together which doesn’t happen often and having fun. This completely changed what we were there to do. Gill I love how you are exploring this beingness as being so equally important as the human aspect if not more at the moment. It’s quite staggering how much we can affect ourselves and others simply through taking responsibility for our own beingness.

If ever you needed or wanted to understand and appreciate what true responsibility is with no cutting corners or making do, but someone that stands by what responsibility truly means and lives it in absolutely everything no matter what. Serge Benhayon is worth observing and being inspired by, I have been for over 14 years and still to this day everything that he lives and connects to blows me away yet I can feel how possible it really is and how it is a choice.

The freedom of letting go can feel quite scary as we can become so attached in how we need to be to fit in. When we realise that the more we let go of the ideals and beliefs we are offered and ease in which to live life.

  • Michael Brown April 3, 2018   Reply →

A good friend of mine once explained to me that the way I viewed responsibility was something that you ‘take’ on board and carry on your shoulders. However in truth it is more about ‘being’ responsive to what is provided for you by way of impulse.

The way that Serge Benhayon talks about the energetic factors of life, and how there is a being inside each human body who is making decisions that affect that body and for which the body then shows, is very empowering. Because this means that we can stop the rise of illness and disease, we can stop misery and abuse. It is all in our power to do so as we each have a body that tells us so clearly what impact our choices are making.

  • Mary March 21, 2018   Reply →

The lifestyles we live have an impact on our bodies there is no doubt about that we just have to look at the figures produced by the world health organisation to know we are not living a well balanced lifestyle any more. So we could say thank heavens literally for the Universal Medicine Esoteric healing modalities because this way of healing is by removing the energetic aspects of the illness and disease as Serge Benhayon said in the interview and not by just addressing them. Modern day medicine is doing a terrific job but I get the feeling that as a race of human beings we are becoming so sick it cannot keep up with the demand we are placing on it.

  • Golnaz Shariatzadeh March 21, 2018   Reply →

It is wonderful to be supported, as does Serge Benhayon, to understand and reconnect to our essence.
Responsibility can feel like a burden when considered without connecting with the depth of love that is our true essence and without allowing that love to naturally express in every aspect of our life.

  • Mary March 18, 2018   Reply →

I have always been waiting for someone or thing to save me, this I can now feel is a past life indoctrination from a religious belief that God will come at some point and save us all. This I can now feel is pure illusion it is giving my power away to an outer source. Since knowing Serge Benhayon I have been developing my sense of responsibility firstly to myself and from this I can feel I save myself and this is what we are all here to do so that we can resurrect ourselves out of the misery we have created and return to the body of God which is our true origin.

  • David March 16, 2018   Reply →

Responsibility is a word that I really did not understand well, and if I am honest about it – at all. The fact that we deepen our connect with universal wisdom with responsibility puts a different picture on our relationship with it, no longer a burden but much more a part of life that we can enjoy and embrace.

  • Jennifer Smith March 16, 2018   Reply →

Living energetic responsibility is not about living the perfect lifestyle, having the perfect diet. These things certainly influence of health, but wellbeing is much deeper than say diet and exercise. When we consider living our lives from our beingness we need to consider all of our lives, nothing is excluded. When we live from our beingness, rather than at a functional level, we realise that there is no weight or heaviness from the responsibility this brings.

Waywardness indeed, this something that I am familiar with myself, we call it the ego, the way we are, but it is the spirit…I can feel it is very different from soul. My soul supports all of me and all of the All, the spirt only concerns itself with its on interests.

The whole world where I grew up was all about living to have as little responsibility as possible, even at work people wanted to get paid more but have less responsibility. Now what I love and find interesting is how the very idea of what we call responsibility is not in fact responsibility, I used to think its about doing more things, conforming to society and yet in that missed the quality of livingness that I and we as a society choose. How simple is it that our kids actually live with greater responsibility than we do in many cases?

The impact that health is having on society is such an important topic to discuss. Just the anxiety and fear levels alone around the possibility of loosing close relatives to cancer is possibly something that has not been so widely understood. But, in his true way, Serge Benhayon had brought this out for us to look at. And I get the sense that should there start to be some real and open discussions about how we all feel about the rates and conditions of illness and disease that are prevalent in our societies everywhere, then there really could be the potential for real and substantial change.

Another brilliant and insight-full interview with Serge Benhayon and Rebecca Asquith. Mention the word responsibility to most people and the reaction will not be a joyful one. But Serge Benhayon’s presentation of what true responsibility is certainly opens my eyes to the fact that it actually a joy; a way of living to embrace and not to shy away from. Living our responsibility in every moment adds another level of connection to those around us and to the world in general.

Thank you for this very insightful interview, we often see responsibility as something we have over a job, or family, something we have to do for others, yet how often do we take true responsibility for ourselves, the way we live the way we talk and the choices we make. Seven years ago I had breast cancer. When I reflect back on that time, I literally sailed through all my treatment. Yes of course some things were challenging for example, losing my hair. But here’s the thing, I had chemo for 5 months and was not sick once. I took plenty of rest and started to cook everything from scratch so that I knew what was in my food, as I felt the importance of food and how much it could truly nourish and support my body at that time. And this still continues. The cancer was in my body or in a tumor on my right breast, which all my medical treatment dealt with. From the very beginning of my diagnosis I knew I wanted to address the root energetic cause as I did not wish to have a quick fix I wanted to truly heal. This is where the Esoteric modalities come in to support me to work on my ‘beingness’. I had Esoteric Charka Puncture every week after my chemotherapy, which acted like a chemo wash and greatly supported my body and why I was not sick.
Working both with the medical profession and the Esoteric was a huge success and key was that I took responsibility for my part in my recovery, with the intention to truly heal. I was also blessed to have support from Serge.

How much are we in the trend of playing down how amazing we feel because those around us have many ill conditions. But really, responsibility doesn’t need to be, and in truth is not anything like this – this is something I am still learning, but being responsible doesn’t leave you out of the equation, your equally looked after and considered.

Responsibility seems like such an overpowering word many of us shy away from yet for me it brings such a sense of purpose and a reason to be doing things. I have seen so many including myself flourish when given the chance to take more responsibility say at work. And what is stopping us from all doing it in our lives then we get to address the real underlying issues and stop getting caught up in all the later stage out plays. I find if I am feeling frustrated I can easily blame another or a situation but when I stop and look back I see that it is agitating me and so I am reacting to what is going on which means I am out of order and so need to address that and then I get to see the situation more clearly and so do not react because with the clarity comes understanding and the more I am prepared to see the more I am given to see.

For example, no longer am I trapped in the disturbance of random or blaming the microwave for my conditions. Yes sometimes it takes a while to reach my responsibility in which one of the two beings I have chosen to make up all that I am that leads me to the health state I find myself in but it does come eventually and with it a feeling of settlement in the understanding.

When we start to feel that the way we have been living has not been responsible, abusive to ourselves and others and that we have been avoiding what we really know then you are at a point in your life where you know your can’t continue in your old ways. This is when the tide changes and it is with each paddle that you make in returning to what you know is true. When we start to live and express with who know we are and how this is a power that is connected with the All then each choice either confirms and celebrates this where Responsibility is a Joy or we fall back to the old ingrained ways and feel the devastation that this brings, only to realise that you can come back and be all of who we truly are. Responsibility never leaves us.

At any point our life is running according to our connection to Soul or to spirit. This means it is crucial to be able to tell them apart. Yet there is so much confusion in this area throughout society. For ages I engaged in many spiritual new age studies and thought it was a great thing to strengthen my spirit – I did not realise there was an enormous gap between what I was pursuing and living soulfully. In fact there are languages out there that do not even differentiate between the two, using the same word for both! It is such a gift that Serge Benhayon through his presentations and books makes it so easy to start to reconnect to our awareness of this deeply significant aspect of life.

I love Rebecca’s question about the being being offered a package to work through and heal in terms in a serious illness such as cancer. This question and this discussion presents a very different way of potentially approaching illness and disease for the person with the illness of disease. At its foundation it is one of responsibility for in that we do need to sit with and look at what it is that had brought us to this place. From experience in health this can very much be done in conjunction with medical care and treatment.

We normalise illness and disease as a normal part of ageing. But this is not true. It may be common and I feel we assume that because something is common that its normal. Dementia is not a normal part of ageing for example and neither is cancer. I was with someone today who said that being incontinent was a normal part of ageing. I also talk to a lot of people that have had enough of life as they are entering the terminal phase in their illness, this is also considered to be normal. We need to establish a new normal, a new what is possible. When we look back in history, we think we have made progress, but we haven’t. The outside parts have changed and become a bit more clever. But really we have advanced the external world at the expense of our internal flame.

The fact that we keep getting cleverer and cleverer in manipulating and managing life, and we still have a downward spiral in the standard of ‘normal’ we keep settling for and resigning ourselves to in all areas of life, is a huge alarm bell that our approach to life is from okay.

I agree with what Serge Benhayon says which is to live in a way that naturally inspires others.
From my own experience having listened to presentations and attending the Universal Medicine workshops, I felt for myself that there was a way to live that brought simplicity to my complicated way of life. Discarding all the complications such as wanting to be identified as a great friend, work colleague, mother. I had a suitcase full of what I felt I needed as my props, or go to’s which gave me my justification to exist. Relearning how to live by simply working on accepting myself has been life changing. What I treasure about this way of living is that it is non-imposing there is no one telling me what to do.

It is so easy throughout life to unconsciously slot into being identified as this, that or another, and letting that dictate our expression. Not only have we been choosing this ingrained way for a long time, most of us are doing it too, so there seems to be a collective game.
I find a choice like yours Mary a blessing for everyone, because on the receiving end, there are no demands or enticement felt to play any of those patterns and roles back. It makes it so much easier for the rest of us to be honouring of the truth of our own expression too.

What I’ve learnt through the works of Serge Benhayon is that when I am under the energy of the spirit engaging in behaviours I know aren’t good or healthy for my body, pausing to ask myself about the energy I am in and my responsibility in that moment, means the push to continue the waywardness starts to fall away. Understanding the two sides makes sense of human behaviour when we are aware that there can be two drivers.

I can relate to what Serge Benhayon says about being the being and not what the world has made us to be. I have been supported by the using of the modalities of Universal medicine to let go of being a product of the world. I have been supported to change this and be me, I have let go of all the hurts, ideals and beliefs I had taken on as though they were mine. This freed me and gave me the space to reconnect back to the child I remembered a little girl who looked out on the world with wonder and not mistrust. When we look beyond the protection of the hurts that we all carry there is a being that is quite beautiful to behold. And to be honest why we want to squash this precious part of us makes no sense to me.

“What we call who we are can be determined by our Soul or it can be determined by our spirit”. Whether this is a familiar concept or a completely new one, it is worth exploring because so much in life starts to make more sense from such an exploration. And there is no one like Serge Benhayon in supporting with this through the simplicity, clarity and understanding he offers.

  • Melinda Knights December 27, 2017   Reply →

Before I found the work of Serge Benhayon I had wondered about the difference between the spirit and the soul, however back then it was a concept. Now through my own experiences I can see it’s much more than a concept, it’s a way of living that we can all relate to. It’s the spirit in the self destructive behaviour, the hurts and the indulgences, and the harm of others, and in the soul it’s the loving warmth and simplicity, in the moment of truth that is lightning clear, the harmony we can feel with others, and the feeling we are connected to something so much greater than ourselves. In my own life and in observing the lives of others I can see and feel the difference. On the surface it might seem outrageous that there is the spirit and soul, yet we can all observe and feel the differences of each everyday.

But if we let go of the need/want to be saved and realised that the only person who can save us is us, the true meaning of responsibility begins to become clearer. Gone will be the old belief that responsibility is an onerous burden, to be replaced by the knowing that it is actually a joy, and the joy comes from the power that we all have to make our life the glorious way of living that we have always known deep down inside it could be.

So much common sense is shared in terms of what we regard as health… True health is a vitality, a a whole wellness, a lived sparkle and not simply an absence of terminal disease. We have accepted being in good health as an ability to function and get by. There is so much brought to our attention in this episode about what it means to be truly well.

  • HM December 26, 2017   Reply →

Serge Benhayon takes responsibility in the way that he presents this to humanity. With clarity and truth. He is deconstructing the essence of responsibility and presenting it to humanity so we have a choice – do we take it or leave it.

Yes, this makes sense like nothing else has ever made sense before. For me I know I’ve been very irresponsible in my life and have the health effects to show it. I’ve always buried my head in the sand not wanting to know the effects of the ill behaviours I know I’ve lived. And, to dull this obvious awareness, I have then knowingly compounded the ill effects by attempt to bury my head further with various means. So hearing how we can be very ill and still be in touch with, and enjoy our beingness inspires me to heal the ill choices and be fully aware of their harm both on me physically but also as the harm my reflection condoned for others. There is nothing we cannot return to love from.

  • Jennifer Smith December 23, 2017   Reply →

I love Serge’s description of healing being about clearing or healing the root energetic cause of an illness or disease. Therefore someone could still carry a physical illness or disease but have cleared the energetic component that cause this and because this energetic pattern is cleared they can be more of the joy of who they are, even with a physical illness. This turns around illness and disease completely and the burden of illness and disease.

As with so many other aspects of life, our perception of responsibility is twisted beyond measure in a way that debilitates our true expression. Serge Benhayon is a master at peeling back the layers and revealing the gold that we have become so accustomed to ignore.

So very important to reflect on the quality of our being and what is running our being. That is, is it the Soul or the Spirit? I grew up in the Catholic tradition and was familiar with these words but never did I understand what they meant, never was it explained so clearly like Serge Benhayon explains it. I feel it is one of the most important teachings, for without it nothing makes sense.

    • Matilda Bathurst December 25, 2017   Reply →

I agree, Jennifer, the difference between soul and spirit is the most foundational thing we can learn and understand about the human condition, our origins and purpose. Serge Benhayon’s explanation of this in this interview and in many other presentations is simple and undeniable.

  • Kerstin Salzer December 5, 2017   Reply →

Our only responsibility is to know that there is a character in us which is amazing, multidimensional, gorgeous, worthy and valuing and loving, and to responsively take care of this and live this quality instead of showing the world a version of us which the world has made us to be. This is so powerful. What kind of more beautiful responsibility is there as to nourish and live our amazingness, love and beauty and bring this to the world ?

  • Jennifer Smith December 5, 2017   Reply →

Its very true that our health and how we are with our health has and is having and will continue to have a very big impact on society in general, on communities and families. This affects everybody, no-one is excluded here. Health professionals, even with the knowledge they have on the human body and knowing about how our lifestyle choices can ultimately affect our health, still make choices with their own health that will lead eventually to poor health and a reliance on the system that is buckling already under the weight of the impact of illness and disease and our choices that result in them.

Responsibility, just like breathing is one of the most natural forms of expression we have, yet we have somehow talked ourselves into thinking it is great to escape it.
Truly eye-opening when we start to realise how much it actually exhausts us resisting the natural impulse we have to love, express and be responsible in life.

I have met people that are terminally ill that inspire me greatly, not because they are sick or the way they are handling their sickness but because they are amazing people. Illness does not mean you have failed in anyway, it is a communication and usually deep down, if they connect, the person that is ill knows what message is being communicated back to them by them. Knowing that life has so many layers, enables you to be more equipped to deal with ill health. We have a responsibility to remind people of these layers or parts of us and we can do that by living soulfully to best of ability, connecting and growing our sixth sense and being very involved with community.

To understand that in truth we are joyful, amazing, vibrant beings is something I never have been told in my life. It struck me that I am powerful and radiant, when all my life I was convinced being worth nothing. And when there were so-called compliments often they were laced with jealousy. What is presented here is pure joy and appreciation of the beings we truly are.

Learning the difference between the spirit and soul has been challenging because it has, and still does expose the choices that I make to keep me in the indulgences of the spirit and therefore separate from the soul. This teaching really does make sense because it explains so much about my own choices, but also about why things happen in this world they way they do. They have really helped me make sense of what I see around me.

Responsibility is to be open to shine our amazingness, love and beauty into the world every moment. I grew up with the understanding that responsibility is a burden. So if I connect to my true inner beauty and amazingness would this be a burden to embrace in full and live ?
I would say no. It would be like to have a brightly shining diamond inside and dismiss it, ignore it, make it unseen.

  • Michael Brown November 25, 2017   Reply →

Responsibility scares us because over many many years the meaning has been changed to represent a burden and a strain. The more we embrace it as life’s richness the more it will support us in our days and in our lives.

Having seen this episode a few times I am starting to really understand how we have been modelled that responsibility is about fatigue, exhaustion and overwhelm, when the living example of Serge Benhayon shows us the total opposite. I heard yesterday that dementia is now the leading cause of death in women and will be the same for men in about 5 years time. This is devastating on so many levels, the financial cost to a family but also community, the loss of a person way before they actually die, the required care that is often much more than most families can manage etc etc. This is also only one illness/ condition. Each illness has a similar effect on communities and families. This conversation about what is health from a beingness level is opening up the conversation on something that has been ignored for a long time. It exposes that our current way of approaching health, although very needed is only part of the story.

Today I truly felt the word responsibility has been used in a way that one is asked to be less and express less. What is offered in this episode exposes how we are often fed a belief that often covers up the truth.

  • Golnaz Shariatzadeh November 18, 2017   Reply →

We think it is our right to be able to be irresponsible about our bodies and the way we live, we think it does not matter that we diminish ourselves in living and expressing our full glory. We hold a belief that this is happening in our own little bubble and it does not affect everyone else.
Here is a preposterous example; What if the sun decided to start adopting behaviours that would mean it was not going to shine so brightly or consistently? What if plants grew and bore fruit only when they felt like it and what if the earth was making choices that affected its turning round (night & day) and going around the sun (seasons and years)? These examples are ridiculous. Exactly. Because no part of the Universe, apart from human beings, works that way; and we are shown from every angle that our assumption that what we do does not affect everyone and everything is a complete illusion.

Perceiving a person with the two aspects of the ‘human’ and the ‘being’ as presented by Serge Benhayon brings a depth of understanding of humanity in general and the individual that is sorely lacking. Once presented it seems such common sense and with it a whole new way of looking for resolutions to problems rather than short-term solutions.

  • HM November 11, 2017   Reply →

What is also apparent here is that responsibility does not need to come from the top down, as it is a quality each of us naturally holds. Even a baby can show an adult responsibility, as I have seen with my own eyes. We seem to have, as a society, appropriated responsibility to the bare minimum we can get away with and so this means we avoid teaching true responsibility to others, as true teaching is by reflection.

  • Natalie Hawthorne November 8, 2017   Reply →

We have created the word responsibility to be loaded with such a heavy burden we don’t want to know anything about it. In doing so it doesn’t question or expose the choices we do make that are irresponsible which suits us down to the ground. When we take a step back and understand what true responsibility is then you get to see it in the light of what it really means. To live and be all of who we are, no compromise and appreciate how special this really is actually becomes a joy to live. Thanks Serge Benhayon for the wisdom you bring through.

What I love hearing Serge Benhayon talk about is the importance of not letting an illness take us over, as in, dull our light or stop our joy.. The body is the maker of all truth but of what truth? Illness is the “beingness” way of communicating back to the body, it is our responsibility to listen. Health is impacting society in a big big way, the question is….how loud does the message need to be in order to get our attention?

Interestingly the doctor was surprised that they had gone to see the doctor and didn’t really wait to see what was going to happen, i.e.. to see whether it settled down or not. Doctors seem to mostly see people with chronic conditions and if there is something acute going on, its still related to the chronic condition. And a lot of people now have multiple chronic conditions, no wonder we may not mention the sore back!

There has been much presented here that will affect the future of health and of medicine. In fact what Serge Benhayon has offered here is truly ground breaking. Working in healthcare I see the devastation of what illness and disease can bring and how we have downplayed what wellness and wellbeing actually is. Its sad that it takes major illness and disease to allow us to be more honest with ourselves. But it doesn’t always have to be this way. We have created a language around illness and disease that keeps us in the same momentums too; the “fighting the good fight’, ‘never give up’ etc. There is much that can be done in health care to change our current trajectories in health, but this revolution in healthcare now starts and belongs to us, rather than the finding so called ‘cures’.

This is such an great interview I had to listen to again. Just pondering on something that was said about how we don’t want to appear to exuberant with someone that may be feeling flat. I have been on both sides of that and one is giving our power way to an emotion that simply does not belong to us and the other is being in the emotion that basically puts a wet blanket over everyone. This really highlights that “we are the subjects of energy” (SB) otherwise we would not be influenced by the ways and behaviours of others in this way.

One of the things that Serge Benhayon talks about in this episode that I love, is that our body may have illness or disease but our being may not, which means that our being is not weighed down by the emotions or carrying the hurts of a lifetime, leaving us free to enjoy who we are and what this brings regardless of what is happening to our body. Working with people who are sick I have rarely seen it, but I have and I know that this is very possible and this is where I want to be if I have become very unwell.

  • Jennifer Smith September 22, 2017   Reply →

There is so much illness and disease, that it has become almost abnormal not to have a diagnosis of something. I see sick people everyday and document their medical history and some people have a collection of diagnoses, all of which have a significant impact on their bodies, as well as their lives. This is not spoken about in this way in media that I have seen, with great concern for what this means to everyone. I am sure that there would be people in Government that would be greatly concerned with the spiralling costs, but I have to say that it’s still not part of everyday conversation and while we have all of our distractions, it may not.

“There is no such thing as a saviour or world saviour. We save ourselves”. This sentence alone undoes a big package of irresponsibility that we have accepted from institutionalised religion. Even if we don’t consciously subscribe to a religion, we are affected by this and tend to wait for someone to save us, be that a religious figure or guru, family, a partner who we expect to make us feel complete. This way of living is disempowering and stops us from seeing the potential just waiting within us.

Who doesn’t alter their way of living and being to accommodate the reactions of others. On so many subtle levels we are affected by not wanting to stand out or be seen to be different. You could see this clearly in a teenager at school conforming by being rebellious or by being a diligent student. But in truth it is in all of us, how we measure our responses to be accepted even when this crushes how we naturally want to express. It starts as a small child and by the time we are an adult most of us don’t even think we are being anything different than who we naturally are.

  • Natalie Hawthorne September 12, 2017   Reply →

From my experience with the Universal Medicine healing modalities they are significantly powerful – you may not feel it at the time, and sometimes you do, but the reconfiguration after the arresting of an energy that is not harmonious to the body and being is life changing. Your body feels and moves in a completely different way than it did. Then from that moment it is our choice whether to call in the ill energy that has just been arrested or not, and make new choices. That is true responsibility.

So simply and brilliantly shared by Serge Benhayon – that there is a human element and a ‘being’ element and we can either choose spirit or soul – and in that is the answer to any and all our conditions – I mean this changes the face of well-being and health as we know it. There is so much more to us getting sick, and there is so much more behind our every choice.

Totally get what Serge Benhayon is saying about down grading your true vitality and wellbeing for accepting something that is going on in our bodies that has started to be our normal – we put up with it, and that there is other more obvious issues to deal with. This is something that we have been brushing under the carpet for so long but it is absolutely essential that we don’t accept this as our normal.

Can you imagine what impact this would have on the world if more people watched this. This is the type of quality and education we need to be seeing on our screens not the usual sensationalised hype, the world is the way it is because we have turned our backs on responsibility. Serge Benhayon speaks a truth that awakens us to our own ill behaviours – by taking responsibility it is our way back to love.

    • Amita August 29, 2017   Reply →

Well said Samantha it is us who have turned our backs on responsibility its time we all stopped and reflected on how we have been living and start to take responsibility again. Serge Benhayhon speaks that awakens us, we have a choice to take responsibility and choose truth back to love.

We pride ourselves for our ability to use logic to understand things. Yet we are the only species that with premeditated behaviour abuse our own bodies and go against the natural harmonious intelligence that so many species around us seem to tap into. It is a significant question we need to be asking: is there more than one source of intelligence and just what intelligence is it that we are tapping into?

The spirit and the soul, it makes so much sense to consider why we harm ourselves with what we choose. To look at the potential that we have two sources of energy we choose to align to, one that harms and one that heals. If we reflect on our lives, we can see it makes perfect sense in how we have lived and how clearly we are making moves to choose well, or harming decision. One day we will accept there is so much more to life than meets the eye, and in this regard Serge Benhayon has shared so much that makes sense of life.

I am continually inspired by Serge and absolutely grateful to have been introduced.

Absolutely Carmel. We have a choice in every moment to be how we want to be, and how we want the world to experience us. Which highlights the responsiblity we have, as you point out, because however we are is our contribution to the world.

This is so true what Serge shares how we have a fitness and a health that is based solely on the body and it doesn’t engage and incorporate our being. Since attending Serge Benhayon and Universal Medicine workshops, courses and presentations I have come to connect and feel my being on a much deeper level than I ever thought possible. When I choose to connect to my being then every thing that I have been taught and shown to be as fitness doesn’t fit the quality of my being.

So true – nothing else makes sense while the teachings of The Ageless Wisdom do and answer all of life’s questions. It’s brilliant that everyone who cannot get to a presentation, or workshop has an opportunity to watch and listen to Serge Benhayon as he makes so much sense to a world that doesn’t make any sense at all.
Serge Benhayon talks of saving oneself and that no one else can save us. I know this to be true as I have reconnected back to the natural exuberance and joy I knew as a child but hid this part of me away as it didn’t feel safe to shine and be me. Meeting Serge Benhayon, listening and participating in the many workshops that have been on offer has brought me back to my childhood again before I stopped expressing the joy and natural love I felt. This shows me it’s never too late to late to make changes in our lives to bring us back to who we truly are.

What is obvious, is that we are lying to each other as a society, we say everything is ok and our bodies feel well, when in truth our bodies are hard and exhausted, we say newspapers and media are telling lies, but we do not stop to buy them or use them as source for information; we know how harming internet games and computer games can be, yet we do not stop buying and using them. What is truly going on here ? We know what feels true but still do the opposite. What sense does this make?

  • Samantha Chater- England July 27, 2017   Reply →

Oh my this is so needed, how many of us walk around thinking the world owes us, as a society we are such a long long way off living responsibility in fact we have become the masters of the opposite, if there is anything we have been good at as a human race it is irresponsibility.

    • Golnaz Shariatzadeh August 1, 2017   Reply →

It is great to expose such thoughts that ‘the world owes us’ or that ‘someone else will save us’ for how completely dis-empowering they are. We end hoping someone will sort it all out for us or blame someone for not doing so, but meanwhile we are disengaging from the awareness that we are deeply loving, aware and powerful beings that have been living a fraction of our true essence, but at any point we can still choose to return to living the deep level of love, joy, wisdom, harmony and oneness that is our natural expression.

This conversation between Serge Benhayon and Rebecca Asquith reflects that the word responsibility is completely bastardised – it is not something that is a heavy duty or a burden. Identifying that there are 2 aspects, the human and the being, in a human being is a paradigm shift that alters the whole understanding of what it is to be a ‘human being’. With this understanding and how not acknowledging this while giving focus to only the human aspect, as Serge Benhayon presents, explains so much of the human condition – this particularly so in the case of illness and disease.

What is offered here is the true and honest fact that there is no saviour who is going to ‘fish us out of the drink’, we are the ones who have to rescue our selves from our self made problems. The power of inspiration is all important and Serge Benhayon consistently reflects to us that there is another way to live that truly restores our heart and soul as the central pillars of our lives and that we have a responsibility to uphold that at all times, so that we too inspire others to resume our God given right to the joy that lies within us.

Explaining that that no one has the power to transform another but instead we all have the ability to inspire others by transforming ourselves eliminates the myth of the saviour. Gosh what Serge Benhayon shares about the healthcare system needs to be talked about and not left under the rug so to speak. We all know the healthcare systems are not coping and that they are becoming crippling for some countries to keep going, but its not talked about to the level it should be. I was in the waiting room at a doctors clinic the other day and even though I am only in my twenties I can remember back when I was much younger if you had ANY pain it was openly talked about and the doctor certainly felt less stressed, pressured and busy. They were really there for you and openly listened to all your conditions. These days it almost feels like you don’t want to mention everything because the doctor is so busy, so stressed, and so pressured that they themselves seem to only be just keeping up with it. Not that its an excuse at all to not be honest about everything because consequently we have a facade which most strive to uphold and believe in that society is healthy and OK when in fact we are far from it on a species level and, if we deeply admitted it, we do desperately need help. What Serge presents here is the only answer, simply because it is the only thing that makes sense.

It is great that most of us have caught on that our lifestyle choices affect our health and vitality. The next step is to realize that it is not just the obvious things such food, rest, exercise and work stress, but the quality with which we live and relate to every aspect of life that affects us.

We are far more aware and sensitive on our being level than we have cared to admit, and our health statistics cannot hide the fact that we need to sit up and pay attention to what Serge Benhayon is presenting.

Responsibility is such a massive topic and one Serge Benhayon covers so clearly. I used to think of it as a yucky word but see that it brings so much joy – the more responsible I am with the way I live the more other people feel it and the more my relationship with myself and with others deepens. And knowing the depths that I can go to with myself and others I find it really hard to own up to when I have made choices that stop this connection as nothing in this world compares or even comes close. And it is only me who can make the choice, responsibly so, to come back to living the love that I am.

This is really important as well ‘we save ourselves, we are not here to be saved by someone’. As Serge says, this is the ultimate responsibility. Serge Benhayon continues to deliver what true responsibility is and how every action we do causes a reaction. There is so much wisdom shared here in the beauty of what it means to truly be responsible from our bodies long before it comes out in words. Yes illness and disease are on the rise, but this is a reaction to an action of not being responsible and therefore a clear message from the body to look at where we are at.

  • Stephen Gammack July 7, 2017   Reply →

To be “a recipient of human life” and all that results from that. The illness and disease is explained in a completely different way in this video. It is a remarkable insight here that Rebecca Asquith and Serge Benhayon offer. • Nattalija January 16, 2018   Reply →

The clarity that is often masked with excuses and half- truths when we all know the difference to the core.

  • Melinda Knights July 6, 2017   Reply →

This is groundbreaking because we currently see illness and disease as mostly only to do with physicality alone. Some studies have made correlations for example between loneliness and heart disease, but there is so much more for us to uncover in terms of how we feel, how much of who we innately are we express, how we interact together, and how we react to life etc, and how this plays out in terms of our physical health and wellbeing. If we zoom out and take in the bigger picture of how medicine was and viewed health a few hundred years ago to now, and then consider where will we be in a few hundred years again then nothing that’s presented here feels preposterous at all. We have to understand that how we view things now is not necessary the whole truth about medicine, just as it wasn’t 50 or even 20 years ago even though it may have felt quite definitive and even advanced back then. There is always more to learn and medicine too needs to keep expanding to met and understand the demands of what humanity is experiencing. The medical world is simply amazing but something is very wrong when we have the best of medical care and technology to serve us yet illness and disease is escalating. There is something more here for us all to understand as to what constitutes true health and wellbeing and how that translates into how we live and the daily choices we make.

It is so refreshing to finally be presented with the truth of another word – in this case responsibility – that for so long has had a very different connotation for the majority of humanity. So many hear the word responsibility and run for the hills as it comes with the belief that it is a burden that they do not want or can’t deal with. Serge Benhayon is gradually returning the truth of so many of these misused words and that is so very much appreciated by me, and I know by many others.

Whilst almost everything in this world reflects to us that it is okay to be wayward and live in disregard of the body, what is offered through Universal Medicine is a different reflection of how to live in absolute honour of the body and its purpose, so the soul can express through us. What we do with it, as Serge Benhayon says, is entirely up to us.

    • Natallija July 31, 2017   Reply →

The honour and respect of the body is paramount in the teachings shared through the modalities of Universal Medicine. When we make our body the vehicle to express truth then we are reflecting to humanity that there is another way.

  • Katerina Nikolaidis July 5, 2017   Reply →

Another brilliant and inspiring episode. Once we realize the difference between spirit and soul and that we are always governed by the direction of one or the other and what that really means and looks like, we realize why the world is the way it is and why we are the way we are. It’s also the most empowering moment of one’s life – and that’s not an understatement.

Why we avoid realizing this all important distinction is revealing in itself of what it is that governs most of us most of the time. The insatiable desire of the human spirit does not want to be exposed – and for the most part it isn’t. We choose ignorance very deliberately.

What is interesting to note is that we all do know what is the difference between the spirit and soul but it is the deep ingrained levels of comfort that leave us just in the limbo we call life!

Listening to Serge Benhayon it is without a doubt he absolutely knows what he is talking about, there is no second guessing and what he shares is something we can ALL definitely learn from. Thank you so much for these valuable episodes … keep them coming ✨

Yes indeed keep them coming. There is immense wisdom offered in this episode and the way Serge Benhayon talks about us as a multi-dimensional human being, explains spirit and Soul, and expands the concept of responsibility is so very inspiring and empowering.

It is incredible how when you peel back the layers of any issue in life, the story always ends up being intimately connected to our spirit and its wayward ways.
In fact I am finding more and more that nothing about human life ever truly makes sense without a clear understanding of the difference between spirit and Soul, and knowing which one we are running with in any moment.
I am so appreciative of the simple and relatable way Serge Benhayon presents things that have been unnecessarily made so complicated.

I am blown away by the richness of these interviews. So many golden lines that no doubt I will watch over again and be highlighted to different parts each time. Today it was the saying I have heard many times ‘The body is the marker of truth’ but the fact that it’s the truth of the being that it marks is what I’ll be taking into my life from here onward till next time. If ever we wanted to know which we were in (spirit or Soul) we only need to look at how our body is moving.

    • Judith Andras July 6, 2017   Reply →

I agree Leigh, there is a richness here that is quite unusual for our time and people in the future will be blown away to find this gold interviews when they research through TV programs and all the ‘trash’ if I may say that you find in the media today as it really stands out.

This is a quality of TV I could watch over and over and like the books from Serge Benhayon, see something from a fresh angle each time. Whereas watching reruns on TV feel flat and stagnant.

    • Natallija August 2, 2017   Reply →

Yes I have enjoyed the quality of this presentation as well. Each time I watch this episode I am reminded that the body keeps on sharing what is offered next to deepen my level of responsibility that is never of a grand scale but on a simple level that support consistency to develop change.

Love it – “put it all together and nothing makes sense like it has never done before” (I hope I got the words right) – It’s true. It changed my life in an instant and I have not looked back to give power to my other-wise wayward ‘contracted’ being. I handed myself over to my Soul.

Serge Benhayon again drops into this seemingly casual conversation consistent beads of truth, understanding and prophecy. That medicine has not yet caught up with the energetic factor and component of healing, shows the way we need to move in order to slowdown and eventually abate the levels of illness and disease that are currently running wild through society.

    • Golnaz Shariatzadeh July 7, 2017   Reply →

I love how profound topics that would have once upon a time needed years of focused studying are now being covered so playfully and so simply on TV.

    • Rowena Stewart July 25, 2017   Reply →

So true Rosanna. Serge Benhayon masterfully brings to our awareness some powerful truths, nominating what we need to become aware of within our selves, our ‘human-ness’ and our ‘being-ness’ and the need to consider the energetic foundation of all life. This is living philosophy at its best, a living education about our energetic, physical, spiritual and soulful dimensions that integrates the laws of science and religion into one package that when studied and applied, deeply alters the course of life forever.

    • Vicky Cooke January 14, 2018   Reply →

Yes so much wisdom, truth and understanding is shared here that all can benefit from.

  • Ingrid Ward July 3, 2017   Reply →

There are so many gems of wisdom in this discussion about responsibility that I know I will be watching this wonderful discussion again very soon. I too was one who used to feel that responsibility was a burden, something I wanted to avoid at all costs but today it is a very different story as I also can feel it’s actually a joy. I used to wonder how one person, me, could make a difference in this world but now I know that by taking responsibility for whatever is presented that I certainly can, and in the process just may inspire another to know that they can too.

This is something I feel very strongly about that we can have such a positive knock on effect if we are prepared to take responsibility for how we behave and how we interact with other people. Serge Benhayon constantly shows us all a way to live that is very joyful. Every day I wake up to wonder what great things are going to happen as I go about my day and if I can pass on this sense of joy that I feel and it brightens up someone’s else’s day then that is very special because I feel a lot of people struggle to feel joy in their lives. So for me responsibility is as you say Ingrid actually a joy.

We can inspire one another all the time, I notice that if people around me are drinking lots of water for example I tend to drink more water without anyone saying anything.

        • Nattalija January 28, 2018   Reply →

This is so true in many ways and the inspiration allows all to see that there is a quality that can be lived if we make it part of our everyday responsibility towards self-care.

          • James Nicholson March 1, 2018

I find that inspiration shows us that no matter waht may be going on for us or how hard we may be finding things there is light at the end of the tunnel we just have to choose to live it.

        • Nattalija February 12, 2018   Reply →

Inspiration is the key to how we can bring awareness to the way we live that we know deep down in not as loving. When others show this with such simplicity we are often called to reflect on our behaviours. Thank you Serge Benhayon for being such a catalyst.

      • Vicky Cooke October 12, 2017   Reply →

I love this Mary; ‘Every day I wake up to wonder what great things are going to happen as I go about my day’ – and this is how it should be. However, how many of us in the world wake up to ‘oh no not another day!’? To me that in itself exposes there is an illness already, it is just sometimes without the physical symptoms.

    • Natallija August 5, 2017   Reply →

Watching this episode I am realising how the burden factor is a quick go to that leads us down the part of ‘comfort’ and sympathy in life, rather than the joy that comes from the responsibility that the way we live can truly impact another.

  • Caroline Francis July 3, 2017   Reply →

It is impossible to blame another for brain washing no matter who or what I listen to as it I that chooses to be inspired or not which ever the case may be. It is I that says ‘Yes’ and it is from me that makes the movements to either align to my soul or prana… it is my responsibility and no other so to accuse another of brain washing is simply an unwillingness and a lack of responsibility to see that it is me that makes and can only make my choices and no other.

    • Golnaz Shariatzadeh July 6, 2017   Reply →

In another episode Serge Benhayon also talks about how there is supply and demand (http://sergebenhayon.tv/episodes/episode-2-business-and-evolution/), and the error in pointing the finger at those who supply when a demand and therefore asking for what is supplied is provided first . And here we also have the accountability of what we choose to align to.

At times people react to being reminded of the level of responsibility and accountability we each hold. Yet in truth this reflection and support to know that we are never in any shape or form a victim, is the most empowering gift ever which invites us to wake up to the true fundamental dynamics that shape our life: the choice between our Soul or our wayward spirit.

    • Rowena Stewart September 5, 2017   Reply →

I agree Caroline, to accuse someone of ‘brain washing’ us is just a huge excuse to avoid the responsibility of our choices. It is interesting how we trot this term out when it suits us, when our comforts and self indulgent behaviours are being challenged. We always know the difference between absolute truth and lies, so the only person who can ‘brain wash’ us is our selves, when we kid our selves into believing lies rather than choosing to from the honesty of our hearts.

      • Gabriele Conrad February 6, 2018   Reply →

Indeed; we don’t call it brainwashing when it suits us and we concur but we grab the brainwashing tag when what is exposed goes against the grain and makes us uncomfortable.

  • HM July 3, 2017   Reply →

So beautifully shared – when we live responsibility we give others the permission to be that also – but free will is such that we all have our own choice to make – do we truly accept what is there within us and bring that out to the world rather than being what the world thinks we should be.

  • Kerstin Salzer July 3, 2017   Reply →

I can feel the absolute joy in me when I listen accurately to my body and do what needs to be done and this joy is independant of any outer source. It is a joy which is almost new in this depth as since then I used outer sources to feel joy.

    • Golnaz Shariatzadeh October 7, 2017   Reply →

It is amazing that it is possible to sense from within us very accurately and precisely what is needed in every moment. Being responsible is neither something we need to figure out, nor a burden, when we realise it is simply us living our natural selves fully without holding back the natural impulse we have to be and contribute with all that we are.

    • Nattalija February 4, 2018   Reply →

Joy and Simplicity and the ease of how to live rather than the constant tension and anxiety that can rule each moment of our day.

  • Adele Leung July 3, 2017   Reply →

This makes so much sense. We have a human part and a being part, the being part is either operated from the spirit or from the soul. There is no spirit part reflected in the natural world, only the species human beings have this in our experience. Our being part, the choice of coming from the soul is what is true as the spirit is a separation from the soul. Our human part has to be taken care of, but it is our being part expressed from soul that brings depth and much more understanding to life.

    • Jennifer Smith November 22, 2018   Reply →

and our body is effected both by being operated by the spirit and by the soul. We just need to tune into our bodies to see what we are being run by.
